I never knew what my life was missing before I walked into Beleaf. The Missy I once knew is now gone, left in a parking lot in Calverton, and I am forever changed. Poetry was created to describe this kind of beauty. A love that set my heart ablaze with a fiery yearning. So many reasonable priced THC products to explore but I am a mere mortal with limited time. Beleaf was nestled like a verdant jewel in the middle of a beige shopping complex, surrounded by a foot massage parlor and Wing restaurant. At first glance, I knew my life was about to change. And reader⌠it did.
The doors opened with a sensual hiss, like a loverâs whisper in the dead of night. A rush of air hit meâdrenched in the sacred aroma of terpene-laced dreams and subtle notes of Pine-Sol. My knees buckled. I clutched the countertop. âHold me,â I whispered, to no one in particular. And thenâthey appeared.
The budtenders.
Sweet Gaia, the budtenders. Each one is a divine hybrid of knowledge, kindness, and chill vibes. Their eyes sparkled with the wisdom of Snoop Dogg and the compassion of Bob Ross. One of themâTina, perhaps a Sage in a previous life, took my trembling hand and said, âLet me show you the Alaskan Thunderf*âŹk.â
My breath caught in my throat. "Alaska Thunderf*âŹk"âthe very words set my soul ablaze. It was as if Shakespeare had returned from the dead to name a strain just for me. The preroll was perfection. A joint God himself would roll after a long day smiting sinners. As it was placed into my palm, I swear I heard a faint eagle cry in the distance, and the ghost of Willie Nelson high-fived me.
one hit and I was instantly transported to another realmâa snowy Alaskan mountaintop where I was cradled in the loving arms of a sasquatch named Kevin who whispered secrets of the universe into my ear while braiding my hair. My third eye opened. My taxes filed themselves. An ex texted to apologize.
And yetâit wasnât just the divine herb that moved me. It was the people. The staff of Beleaf are not mere workers. They are curators of sacred wisdom, shamans in t-shirts, whisperers of weed. They didnât just sell me potâthey healed me. Emotionally. Spiritually. Legally.
I left Beleaf that day forever changed. I found love. I found purpose. I found an absolutely fire preroll that tasted like lemon zest and reckless joy. If Romeo had smoked this instead of drinking poison, he wouldâve lived to start a podcast.
In conclusion, five stars is not enough. I give Beleaf five galaxies, one phoenix tear, and a bear hug from Kevin the Sasquatch. Go. Run. Skip gaily into the fluorescent-lit heaven that is Beleaf. And may the Alaskan Thunderf*

Iâve been a loyal customer for over two yearsâstarting in Brooklyn and now out on Long Islandâand I can confidently say, I wouldnât go anywhere else. Their selection of strains and products is top-tier, consistent, and thoughtfully curated for both casual and experienced smokers.
But what truly sets BeLeaf apart is its Calverton location. That store is something special! The energy, the personality, the no-pressure vibeâit all creates an incredibly welcoming and stress-free experience. Youâre never pushed to buy anything. Instead, youâre guided, educated, and elevated every time you walk in.
From entrance to exit, it feels personal. Youâre not just a transactionâyouâre part of the experience. Huge shoutout to Christine, who always goes above and beyond for me, my family, and friends. She understands how important this plant is and matches your taste to a product within seconds, often introducing you to flowers youâve never even heard of, even as an experienced smoker, or taking you back to your early days!
No words but fire.
The products will keep you coming back. The people will make it feel like home.
Thank you, BeLeaf. Especially the Calverton crewâyou all are...
Read moreUPDATE: Absolutely used to love this place. Two bad experiences in a row. One, not really on them. The specific brand and strain flower tasted like smoking potpourri. Couldnât use it. Now, an incorrect listing just cost me $55 on a jar after discount from points that when I opened it, had stems and seed shells on top. No one wants that junk. Advertised as âFlowerâ on Beleafs listing. The jar says âPremium Infused Shake.â Had this been listed on the website properly, it would NOT have been bought. The brand is âLeft Coast - Divorce cakeâ No seal. Opened the jar and there was shake exposed. I asked if it could be exchanged and was denied because the seal that wasnât there, was assumed to be broken. When something is listed as *Flower. Itâs expected to be flower. Not pre ground, or shake as on the jar. The lack of support and help with all the money and countless visits Iâve spent there, on top of the wasted points saved up to use, is disappointing and sucks. I live directly in the middle of two dispensaries. The other is larger and a wider selection. Beleaf is smaller with most of the same selection and prices, but the staff is much friendlier and the environment is more inviting. This is my experience, it may not be yours. Sadly, I wonât risk a third...
