For several years we had a Generac at our home in Stone Ridge. Subsequently, we moved and sold that property.
I did the routine maintenance on the generator (oil-changes etc.) and called Gen-Plus when the problem was more complicated.
Without exception, I could not have been happier than I was with Gen-Plus. They were superlative in every way. Steve Vosburgh is just a natural with generators. It seemed that he arrived, and before he was out of the truck he knew what the problem was and what needed to be done.
I also appreciated the fact that Gen-Plus did not resent that I was doing the easy stuff and left the hard stuff for them. We had a neighbor who didn't know a thing about her generator, and they were just as happy to do everything necessary for her generator. She didn't have to go near it.

   Read moreI asked my local contractor for a referral and he suggested Gen-Plus for my 10 year old generac propane fired generator. I was having a hard starting problem. They came, called and explained the problem. The price for repairs was reasonable unlike my previous contractor. I checked and the generator is now starting up on the first or 2nd starting cycle. It had been going through all 4 startup cycles and then locking off which is frustrating when its a weekend home and your not there. They also explained my connections for a battery minder may cause the generator to think there was an outage, so he reconfigured the setup and replaced the winter oil and battery heaters which the old ones didnt seem to work. Very satisfied... hopefully this will give me peace of mind...

After the machine broke down because a spark plug was improperly installed, and stripped and fell out, the local dealer give me a series of lame excuses and delays and never showed up to do the service. A friend gave me the contact information for Gen-Plus. It took a while before they could fit me in, but when they came, the service was superb. Steve fixed the problem quickly, and competently.
