The Plaid Bear — Local services in Town of Saint Germain

We visited the Plaid Bear for the second time today as we live about 4 hours away and only make it up here once a year. When we showed up Friday the doors were closed, I looked them up on Facebook, to find they have limited hours this time of year as the owner was out of town. I thought I’d send a message and see if they had hours open when we would be there this weekend. Even though they did not have open hours this past weekend, the owner happily and promptly message back and offered to have Barb come on in and open the place up just for us to shop! Barb was so incredibly sweet and helpful, took time out of her own Sunday to enjoy/talk and let us shop! We didn’t feel rushed at all and got all the adorable goodies this place has to offer! 10/5 stars! Such cute apparel and decor! Customer service from everyone was outstanding! Made us feel super special today! Can’t wait to go back...

The Plaid Bear is a delightful store with great up north decor, bags, clothes, and more! I was so excited walking into the store as some Christmas decor was being stocked and I wanted everything. I bought a sign for Little St. Germain Lake as a housewarming gift along with a plaid shirt for myself. My husband was ready to buy every ornament in there. The owner is a wonderful lady with great taste and I look forward to visiting the shop every time I visit my parents' cabin (which will be a lot)! Cute shop, great owners! Their bird feeders are fantastic. We asked them if they would be willing to build a couple custom feeders for us and they were not only willing, they were done quickly and were excellent quality. They also have bird houses, flower boxes and lots of fun giftware, house decor and candles. Super friendly atmosphere.
