Closets by Design Green Bay — Local services in Town of Scott

We were excited to have our primary closet designed and updated. The overall experience was just okay. We chose the Everyday Closet level, the least expensive level of materials, although the total cost for everything was still $3800. We wished we had asked better questions during the design process as the catalog with the lovely pictures shows one thing and the actual closet pieces were a bit different. The bottom line is the materials are basically particle board. Our biggest issue was that the top shelf pieces had very large brackets that held the pieces together with screws that were not counter sunk or even level with the bracket so would catch on things. The cut particle boards didn’t have a nice white finish on the edges so will collect dust. The fix has some of its own issues, but they tried. See pictures below. The installer also had some trouble with some other parts of the install, and they had to come back two times to try and resolve them. Our experience with Closets by Design started out rocky, but we are very happy with the end result!

In the initial build out, we noticed the quality was noticeably off. The shelving system wasn't level, drawers weren't closing correctly, bowing, and the designer had taken the wrong measurements, which means the design we signed off on had to be changed a bit. Overall, we were really unhappy with what we paid for vs. what we got.

That being said, after we voiced our concerns, the owner and another contractor came out right away and fixed everything. They were extremely professional and took their time, which we appreciated. They even threw in 2 shoe rack shelves!

We are very happy they made things right and are extremely excited about our organized new closet! We plan on using them again for our pantry.

I had a great experience with the whole crew at Closets by Design Green Bay. Jason came to our house worked with me on the design I wanted. Isiah and Tireece came to install and were very professional. I am so pleased with the final project. They did just want I wanted.
