One of the biggest challenges as I understand it is researching and finding an artist who specializes in the artwork you desire. One who is knowledgeable, personable, dedicated, focused and experienced In my case, Mike and his beautiful wife Kat found us. The location is in Sag Harbor. It’s clean, quaint, well lit and in a quiet neighborhood where there are no distractions. The Customer Service down to the selection of your genre of music is just as you want it; simply perfect. Hamptons Ink is careful and compliant with checking your identification before your session begins AND they explain everything to you including reviewing your desired artwork. Although you should bring your own snacks and non alcoholic beverage, this shop has just what you need to make your experience seamless. With a calming and clean environment my artwork was applied perfectly. Mike was patient and professional and I was actually humming and singing to some of my favorite songs while he was at work. I am very happy. Moreover, Hamptons Ink provides aftercare in a written document which is easy to understand. The icing on the cake is Mike answers your questions without delay. I had such a wonderful experience at Hamptons Ink! I originally made an appointment, but I became seriously ill with a life-threatening condition and had to cancel. Mike was incredibly kind and understanding, and he refunded my deposit without hesitation, which meant a great deal to me during such a difficult time.

After 3 years I am better and able to tattoo. I rebooked with Mike and I’m so grateful I did. I received a beautiful tattoo from Mike. His work is truly stunning, and he made me feel safe, supported, and comfortable throughout the entire process. The piece he created was not only artistically incredible, but personally meaningful, especially after everything I’d been through.

The tattoo was so beautiful that I immediately made another appointment. The studio has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and it’s clear that everyone there genuinely cares about their clients—not just as customers, but as people.

I really appreciated my experience with Hampton’s Ink, and would absolutely recommend anyone I know to them! I am visiting from out of state, and pulled up google to see which shops were around. I love that this is a small studio, and the art you see online is done by the same artist who will be tattooing you. (From personal experience, anytime you do a walk in appointment I’ve noticed you always get the newest artists)

The process was easy, and professional. First phone call was prompt, and they were able to fit me in an hour and a half later. When I arrived the artist referenced the pictures I sent over, and already had something drawn up. He even gave me multiple size references to choose from.
