First off, the staff are amazing at the restaurant and super quick with your order, Jeramie has staff that really care and they are all knowledgeable about the products they serve. The restaurant is wide open so you can see whats going on in back and everything I could see was super clean and organized! I ordered the pulled pork burrito, meat candy, and cheesecake. The burrito is 2 meals in itself, I ordered mine with pulled pork and it comes with tots and mac and cheese and gouda cheese all wrapped up in a delicious pillow size burrito! It was absolutely delicious. The meat candy is way to addictive to get one order if you plan on sharing! For real, the pork belly is so tender and delicious it is like eating candy, I wish I ordered 2 as it did not survive the trip home. The cheesecake with smoked caramel sauce was most tasty and definitely will be a go to when dining at the Bearded Bear BBQ! Located in the small shopping plaza in Union springs. Went in today to check this place out. You stand in line to place your order. You can get it to go or dine in. They have a small seating area inside and outside. Ordered the pulled pork quesadilla, they have smoked wings on Friday. So I order some of those as well. Overall everything was ok . I had a brisket sandwich, tots, and a soda. I recently moved to the Finger Lakes from TX, where smoked brisket is a mainstay - part of the culture. My brisket at Bearded Bear was lean and had outstanding flavor - I left not a crumb. The tots and kettle chips were great, too. BBQ isn't cheap, and for BBQ I think Bearded Bear is reasonably priced.
