The ladies that work the deli are nasty ! I called tonight 11/7/23 around 415 maybe 420 and asked if I could order 3 roll sandwiches the lady speaking on the phone immediately had attitude I ordered 2 Italian sandwiches and I asked for American cheese she starts yelling saying they come with provolone cheese you want Italian they come with provolone cheese I said I'm sorry aren't they made fresh can I please have American cheese she huffs very loudly into the phone yup american cheese okay you could hear the attitude in her voice then she rudely tells me it's going to be 30 minutes because other people are first which is completely fine I don't mind waiting it's the way she was speaking to me. Then I go in the store to pick up the sandwiches and she throws them on the counter and doesn't say anything to me and just walks away this isn't the first time I've gone in and have attitude given to me from the people at the deli I work with people all day 40 plus hours a week I'm still friendly it's called customer service which they are definitely...

Typical rural/food-desert/low-income area price gouging going on here.

The store is fairly clean and organized the staff working here are alright. However the prices are outrageous for the quality of food being offered. I've lived in large cities and expect high prices for food in those cities but not in a small rural market.

$4.99 for a bag of seeping Dole iceberg lettuce? No thanks. I usually can find something to work with at a supermarket. There is nothing worth buying here.

I recognize that I'm privileged enough to be able to drive to different stores and can afford to spend time looking for better food.

Not always my fave store but on my last visit there, Steve went out of his way to find the meat I had come in to purchase and was sold out at the meat counter. He searched it out, found some in back, and found me in line at the register, where he swapped out the product I had settled for for the one I reallyy wanted. His customer service made a huge difference in my opinion...
