Treebusters — Local services in Town of Tupper Lake

Mike, the owner of Treebusters, came over to review the proposed project on a Wednesday, the same day that I called him. He looked at the four trees that needed to be taken down, one within 6 feet of a cabin and three adjacent to a woodshed, and several large "hazard" limbs that overhung the cabin from the neighbor's property.

Mike asked me a few questions as to disposal and cleanup, and provided an estimate that seemed quite fair, especially given the tight quarters defining the project.

Due to weather issues that prevented Treebusters' Collin and Brendan from working at another location (but wouldn't hinder our project) the duo arrived here on Friday morning only two days after I first contacted Mike! They removed the four trees of concern and the problematic overhanging limbs, performed the agreed-upon cleanup and completed the job by 2:00 pm!

I can't express enough the professionalism that we received from this company. From the first phone call to Mike inquiring about tree removal to the actual removal. The estimate along with their insurance papers came immediately after coming to our house to see what we wanted taken down. Colin & Bill who were the workers that came to do this removal, they were so professional and let us know their thoughts before proceeding. Our family has owned a camp on the Upper Saranac Lake for sixty years. The White Pine tree was thirty feet from the house and about 150 feet tall. The tree started growing around 1880. Our family debated whether to leave the tree alone or cut it down. Tree rot was not apparent, but a real possibility. We called Treebusters to have the tree cut down. They were quite busy and set an appointment a few months out. With a tree about 180 years old, a few months more was okay.
