If you want a short review here it is: IT WAS TERRIBLE!!! Now you can keep reading if you’d like to hear about my experience.

My girlfriend, myself, and another couple were visiting the area for a mini vacation. After looking at multiple restaurant choices for a nice dinner I decided to bring everyone to Steak and Brew because of all the amazing reviews online and was prepared for a wonderful meal... Unfortunately that’s not even close to what I was about to experience.

We arrived for our reservation and the specials were read to us at the door before we were even seated and that’s where the problems began. We were seated and brought over a “vegetable dish” that I guess is complimentary. It consisted of carrots, celery, pickles, a vegetable dip, and a cup of macaroni salad. The dip was sour and the mac salad was completely overpowered by a sour cream flavoring and a huge amount of onions made it pretty undesirable. I have worked in restaurants before and I’ve eaten out more than my fair share of times and I thought this vegetable dish was extremely odd.

As an appetizer I got a crock of French onion soup. I took one sip off my spoon and immediately pushed it away. It tasted like actual vomit. I couldn’t stand it. My friends thought I may have been exaggerating until they also sampled it and concurred. Absolutely terrible. The ceaser salad served table side was actually really nice until it was tasted. Way to much anchovies and it certainly didn’t taste fresh.

My friend ordered the prime rib and that reminded me of play dough or putty. His girlfriend ordered the bacon wrapped filet mignon. It came out wrapped in undercooked bacon and the filet was actually raw. It was taken back to the kitchen to get cooked more but once again came back raw! My girlfriend that is a vegan ordered the shrimp and broccoli spaghetti minus the shrimp. The broccoli was undercooked and hard and they still charged full price ($25) for the dish even though it was missing the most expensive ingredient. My Delmonico steak was chewy and tasted awful. Nothing was good... Well actually, the rainbow sherbet they served to cleanse your pallet after appetizers was pretty decent. Hahaha.

Quite honestly I did not complain once. The staff were so friendly and really seemed to care but that was so overwhelmed by the absolutely disgusting quality of the food. We made an excuse and left quite suddenly because we were...

Just lost a could of been loyal customer. Not impressed with this place. Unable to rate the food or service as we didn't even get to dine in. First impressions is what Counts! Terrible greeting just to tell us that we needed reservations. No where does it state that reservations are needed! The host as I'll call him since he might even be owner, I seriously hope not. He first asked how many were dining, we stated 3 as it was my husband, 7 year old and I. Right away he proceeded to ask if we had reservations. Now why would you ask how many are dining, if it's all booked for the rest of the night with reservations. I'll add that it was 40 minutes after opening and about 12 cars parked in the parking lot. At the bar there was approximately 8 ladies and gentlemen, in the dining area only about 4 tables were occupied. So seems to me they discriminated for whatever reason. Maybe they don't allow children. Or was it because we weren't in dress attire. The 65+ crowd in there weren't either. I don't think elastic pants and velcro shoes would fit that category. Well dress code was not posted either. He tried to explain that it just happened to be tonight that they had reservations only. We replied well we just happened to be in the area this evening also. Again, nothing posted at the entrance. If so, he should of asked from the start if we had reservations. This would of been a more adequate greeting. Overall first impression this place sucks, I will never go there again or say anything good about my bad experience. Guess I'll spend my...

My family and I were there on Saturday night while my daughter was visiting for a long weekend and really enjoyed our meal. My daughter and I decided to come back on Monday night because she saw the Steak Au Poivre and really wanted that before she left to go back home. She ordered the steak, medium rare, the steak was made in front of us and once the steak was served it was dry and overcooked. It seemed as though it was an old cut of meat, it was cut differently than what we had seen Saturday night. My daughter did eat a majority of it thinking that it would get better but it never did. We addressed this with the waiter, Who told us the chef would be out to speak with us shortly, the waiter came back a few minutes later with our check and said that they comped us half price for the meal. The chef who is supposed to be the new owner never came out to speak with us even though there was less than 5 people in the restaurant. The previous owner asked us as we were leaving how we enjoyed our second round of coming for dinner and I told him that we were very disappointed in the steak this evening. Nothing else much was said to us. I am not only disappointed in the meal, but I’m disappointed in how everything was handled, in my opinion the owner should’ve come and talk to us. I am not one to complain but my daughter was really looking forward to this meal. This could’ve been handled so...

We have eaten at places all around the US... I was not prepared for what we came across at Steak and Brew. Pulling up to this unsuspecting little place in Turin, it just looked like a small out of the way restaurant. What we got was the best dinner we have ever had. The tableside preparation of the Caesar Salad was tremendous, and the chef told us the back story of how the salad was originally created. He is not just a chef, he's an entertainer.. They brought a relish plate as an appetizer with a cole slaw on it that I wanted to purchase and take more home, it was amazing. Entrees were next level, my wife had salmon and scallops Mornay, she couldn't stop raving.i had the Steak au Proive which was also prepared tableside, brandy seared in flame right next to you.. It was phenominal. The desserts brought the chef to us once again as he prepared Bananas Foster and Cherries Jubilee, once again sending flames to the ceiling as he gave us the story of the origins of both desserts. It was a perfect ending to a meal that would cost $300 at a place like the Turning Stone but at half the price. This place is an hour away from us and we'll be going back within the month. Bravo.

Phenomenal dinner and dining experience. We tried Steak ‘N Brew in the recommendation of a few friends and were so glad we did. The food and service are both amazing! The specialty is the table side service. My wife and I each had their Caesar salad which in addition to being tasty comes with the story on the origin of Caesar salad, too. For dinner, my wife had their salmon and scallop mornay which she absolutely loved! My dinner was the table side steak Diane which was amazing! Service was excellent. Food was amazing! For dessert we had their cherries jubilee which was also prepared table side and it was so fun to watch and even more fun to eat. Full bar service, a friendly serving team, greet food all make for a delightful dining experience. Highly recommend.

I've driven by this establishment over 2,000 times and always thought to myself we should stop and check it out but we never have until tonight. My wife called for reservations and we were promptly seated at our given time. French onion soup was great. The tableside preparation of the Caesar salad was a delight and yummy. My wife got the London Broil, it melted in her mouth, I got the Steak Diane (butterflied filet mignon)! Fantastic - pan fried (med rare) tableside, served with the pan sauce of brandy, dijon, worcestershire, mushrooms, onions and burgundy... DELICIOUS! For dessert my wife got Bananas Foster and I got Cherries Jubilee both of which were flambeed tableside and absolutely out of this world! Friendly staff, clean establishment... We will be back.
