The bearings/seal they sent were defective. Were extremely loud (think nails on chalkboard) and stopped working less than a month after a Samsung certified technician installed them.
The website says they will refund defective parts. They DID NOT honor this. The gentleman on the phone was in fact quite arrogant/rude.
Despite 2 repair companies saying these parts were cheaply made, Senecas phone operator says “I don’t know what happened.” He said the OEM parts come from the same factory as his.
—-The OEM parts came from South Korea
—-Senecas parts came from China and sound like they are filled with sand.
Does that sound like the same factory?
.... lies ....
I informed him that the OEM bearings I have now, are silent, and we’re not made in China, instead South Korea, The gentleman on the phone said, “South Korea and China are the same difference...” So now we have terrible product, sold by a company that doesn’t honor its word, and now on top of that, they are ignorant or racist. I think it was just pure ignorance to say South Korea is the same as China. I can assure anyone reading this that they are vastly different places.

So basically here’s the summarized problems with this company, and why you should absolutely avoid them.
The company does not honor their return policy for defective items.
They refuse to admit they sold a defective item despite two repair companies confirming that the product was defective
They are dishonest about the origin of their products. I don’t think they even know...
Oh, I forgot, they are very slow at shipping orders.

Read moreThe customer service for Seneca River Trading is HORRENDOUS. I LOVE my Cuisinart hand mixer - I decorate cakes and thought wow a couple extra sets of beaters would be helpful when I'm needing to do different batches of batter or frosting. I accidentally ordered KitchenAid instead of Cuisinart beaters. I contacted Seneca River Trading on 6/16 asking how to either do a refund or replacement. They emailed me back on 6/17 indicating to type and enclose a letter letting them know how I wanted the transaction handled and include the incorrect beaters. I typed up my letter asking for a replacement/exchange for the correct Cuisinart beaters. My husband mailed the KitchenAid beaters back to Seneca River Trading either the 18th or 20th of June. To-date, I still cannot get any response from Seneca River Trading. You CANNOT reach a live person via their 877 number - it directs you to send an email to the parts email address which now nobody is responding to. I have sent several follow-up emails (8/3, 8/15, 8/19)... At this point I want my money back but I know it will not happen. I will just have to eat it and find the parts elsewhere. DO NOT ORDER FROM SENECA RIVER TRADING - their customer service is...
Read moreMy return was received and I did receive a partial refund. When I called I was told there is a 20% fee on returns. They have, on their website, two different policies regarding returns. I had never seen the one that talks about a 20% fee. I only saw the one that has no mention of it. BAIT AND SWITCH much, Seneca? The guy tried to tell me he can't control what is on the internet, even though both of these Returns policies are on THEIR WEBSITE!
If I could give zero stars I would.
I ordered a bowl, beater and dough hook for a KitchenAid stand mixer. The price was good and it arrived quickly. BUT - it did not fit! The bowl didn't fit my mixer, and the paddle beater wouldn't fit the bowl even if the bowl did fit the mixer. The beater would, at a minimum, scrape on the bowl. But I think the beater would be so tight to the bowl that it wouldn't even turn.
I emailed them to let them know. Here is the response I got, in it's entirety: "According to your model number this is the correct bowl." That's it? No solution offered? I responded that I would send it back for a refund. No response. This is terrible...
