Wow this place sounds so great if you listen to the message while you are on hold. They build themselves up because they are so terrible! My friend of many years went into Wellsville Manor Care Center and they say he has round the clock care which is a lie. He has called me because he was falling out of bed and couldn't get himself back up. Aid forgot to give his call button back to him. This happens often and staff and patients both know about it. He is to be on a diabetic diet but they don't realize that carbs are turned into sugar by the human body. The give him toast and cereal for breakfast! Told me there are too many people to feed to do a strict diet for anyone. Maybe this is why his sugar is so high and he is not healing and suffering from more infection. I could go on and on about all of the things this place has done. We refer to the place as a prison not a nursing home. I wouldn’t even rate this facility one star if I didn’t have to. My brother was admitted to the hospital and the only reason I knew is because the HOSPITAL called to tell me he was being released. I tried to get updates on him and no one returned my calls. I left messages with the social worker Jessica and she didn’t return my calls. After my brother was discharged and no one returning my calls I did get a call from the supervisor a few days later who I may add called my home phone when my cell phone was clearly stated as my primary number. ( she told me this when she got me on my cell phone) My brother was being sent to the hospital for what she stated an evaluation. He died 6 hours later and I’ve never received a...

This place is the worst. I've been a resident for over 2 years now. I asked to learn the board transfer from my electric chair to my bed and bed to chair. They INSISTED on trying to make me stand. I explained why I couldn't because of my back n the accident I was in. Made NO difference. So when they force it I went down on the floor. They don't have enough staffing ..most nights it's 1 aide n 1 split that helps on both North n South units. They have 40 people per unit. There is NO quality of care. Treatments are not always done but documented as being done. There are no freedom here. I have pictures to prove my statements. THIS PLACE IS...
