Applegreen — Local services in Town of Westmoreland

Yesterday I was driving from Canada to Connecticut. I keep seeing signs for applegreen on my way there. I stopped at Applegreen NY mi lepost 244 E Westmoreland NY for gas,bathroom brake,and to grab a little snack. I think is was a mistake. My cousin who is a tourist and was visiting the USA. She bought a drink and she wanted to know if it had alcohol on it. She was unable to communicate with the cashier because of the language barrier and I was around the store buying something for my son. She called me and I politely said hi to the cashier and he just gave a discussing look and didn't even reply. I asked him the question that my cousin asked and he looking away from us like we were so sort of animal he answered. My cousin paid and when the cashier was giving her change back , he throw the change not wanting to put it in her hand because we were black. I said to him why are you treating us like that we are just customers like this white customers. He ignored me and he kept looking away like I was not there. He didn't even gave me my receipt I came back and asked for the receipt. I said to him I will complain to your manager then he said I didn't do nothing and sarcastically yell have a nice day. He then called his manager and was telling him about me. I approached the gentleman that the cashier was talking and I asked him are you the manager he said yes. I started telling him about the experience he was worsed than the cashier. He said he wished that my cousin speak English since she was in the USA. When I told him that they were tourists. That is when he sarcastically apologized. I felt so bad they have to endure plain racism. Applegreen should advertised in the billboard if you are black or Hispanic don't enter as we don't like servicing minorities. That way you know what to expect when you go there. Our money is worth just like white people money. We don't have to be ashamed in front of our children. Had I know I was going to be treating with disgrace We would not put a foot at your location. I had a long drive and we just stop to rest as your billboard advertised. If your company doesn't like minority advertised that also too. You take our money but treat your minority customers worse...

Terrible. They had no change for a 10 dollar bill need something sugarie was feeling the blood sugar was low. Then the kid behind the counter got smart with me when I asked him who runs the place.. snotty punk looked stoned and was playing on his phone....

Only Burger King was open. Both Starbucks and Panera were closed. The staff at Burger King were struggling to fill in orders from customers. Need to cancel Starbucks and Panera from this site it they’re unable...
