This was a fun experience to do driving up the mountain and then getting on an elevator to take you up the rest the way it is considerably colder than at the bottom so I would recommend a dress appropriately or bring those clothes when we started at the bottom and the top is clear and open and by the time I got to the top clouds in rolled in invisibility was minimal that is something you just have to deal with with mountain ranges and things like that nature.
The tunnel into the elevator was super neat they have a copper roofing that was beautiful look at grounding conductor laid all in the trenches to reduce the static shocks . it was cool and moist and very interesting to see the rock in the tunnel.
Occasionally you would be able to see a semi-precious red stone in the rock. Once off the elevator at the top, you can learn more about what the red stone is and how...

There's no way around it, because you pay at the bottom of the mountain before the road gets beautiful so no free sightseeing. But it's worth it. We had 30 mile visibility that day, it said at the entrance, and that meant we could a lot of beautiful lakes and surroundings. You park your car almost at the top, and can either walk up a steep rugged stair or take an elevator with a pretty long queue. We took the walk, kids loved it. And it feels pretty safe too, even though we didn't have hiking-booths - just don't run too close to the edge where there's a fence. It's a lovely hang out place, although I imagine it won't be nice if the...
