A good mini golf course practically guarantees a fun time. Adults and kids had a great time at "Olde Saratoga Miniature Golf", with ice cream served up by the owner a surprise bonus! Pick your own ball color. Par is listed at 43 for 18 holes.
The 18-hole course is different from most, with pristine greens, manicured walkway, and water features galore, think less kitsch and more historical and classic golf course. No spinny windmills or toilet-bowl-blue-tinted water here - just a relaxing and fun place to try for under par, or work the angles on a trick shot. Fun terrain, great for kids and grown ups.
Wander through local history along the way. Each hole features an interesting facet of Saratoga's fascinating history, essentially in chronological order. There are picnic tables and Adirondack chairs. The owner clearly put a lot of thought into it.
Ample shady parking lot, good pricing! Snack bar - hard and soft-serve ice cream (and sherbet), sundaes and root beer float. You might miss a putt, but you can't miss with a trip to Olde Saratoga Miniature Golf.
If you go: Bug spray may be handy some days, like during our visit. Mosquitoes can be distracting! It was tricky to find the driveway - the signs for the Mini Golf and Brooklyn Attitude salon are not big, with small text. The entrance is just south of the railroad overpass. If you're coming from downtown or Rt. 50, the entrance is just before the traffic light sign. If you miss it, there's a Cumberland Farms a few yards up the road for a u-turn. Also, patience helps when taking a left on the way out - Rt. 9...

We started playing and after the first five holes we all had the same thought and said "are we playing the same hole over?" Unfortunately all 17 holes were pretty much the same. They had a rock, hill and a hole. Some had a curve and some had an extra rock or hill to it, but really every hole seemed the same. Very disappointed. With miniature golf you expect the things to go around or the stuff that is at each hole that gives each hole its uniqueness. You won't find that here. We probably won't come back due to there being really no challenge or excitement to the course. Nothing wrong with it if that is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy family wanted to do something fun that was close to our house. We live on the outskirts of Saratoga so we don't have many options of fun things to do that's also close to where we live. We loved Olde Saratoga Minature Golf! I have two sons and they both had a great time. This place is pretty new but it looks awesome, we really liked the stories about Saratoga on the signs by each hole. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They also sell ice cream that looks delicious, we didn't get any this time but we definitely will next time we go. The price was reasonable. Overall we had an awesome experience and we will be recommending Olde Saratoga Minature Golf to all our family...
