We especially loved the children's play area, it was quiet and we were basically the only ones playing! It was a nice little walk with fun spots for kids along the way, all ending at a great open ended play area. Mud Kitchen, sand box, truck, tent, and more! We happened to run into the individuals who have put the play area together - very kind and said a teeter totter is on its way in. They explained how they've used wood direct from the area in it's creation.

Read moreOkay, let's knock out the important stuff first 🤣, you will need to map yourself to the Campground United Methodist Church for parking (it's totally fine to park here), secondly, don't try to play frogger crossing the road to the trail 🫠, there is a pedestrian walk under the highway, just walk up the street toward the trail (it's maybe a 1 min walk) and you can't miss it.
