Nail Art — Local services in Tracyton

My daughter called and made an appointment at 4pm for us, two pedicures a fill and a manicure…. We got there sat down in the chairs enjoying the warm water and the owner came up to my daughter and said she needed to reschedule her fill for the next day well she couldn’t do that so they said go to the chair and she will do the fill and she can come in for a pedi another day. She worked so quickly on her she nicked her skin in several places and did a sloppy job on her fill. I was given the pleasure of the quickest and slightly painful mani/pedi in my life! The tech did ok with the pedi, then another tech came over to do my mani and twisted my thumb so much I was in tears (I have arthritis) and went on to barely trim my cuticles finishing up with a horrible polish, I have had to take a file to nearly all my nails to get the excess polish off…. I did say something to the owner about how bad the service was. All I got was well she needs to get to the airport, NOT MY FAULT! If you didn’t have the time then don’t agree to the service! Came here because of the good reviews but did want to write this to give realistic expectations. I was a walk in as soon as they opened at 930. First person there and my pedicure was still rushed. My service was completed in 12 minutes from the time I put my feet in the water to the time she painted my last toe. Cleanliness was lacking big time in their tools and the overall establishment. I don’t feel like my toes were cleaned/groomed at all. More like they were just going through the motions? Most of my nails were filed for all of one second. My nails on each foot were different lengths and cut crooked. I didn’t say anything because based on this initial interaction, I just took it as this was the best I was gonna get. 2 stars though because the employees were very friendly and their prices are cheaper than others around. So I guess that’s on me. Expecting to get more for less. If you’re looking for a quick paint job, this place wouldn’t be bad. But if you’re looking for detailed work and a luxury/clean environment, I don’t think I would...

Love this place! Make a reservation..Usually, they are always busy with happy customers. The price is most definitely, slightly cheaper, than other nail salons. They have many more colors to choose from and the staff are friendly and do the job right. I usually go to the nail salon at the Fred Myers plaza, but this is my new "Go-To". I've found that customer service is better and the quality of the product is more professional. I always get the Gel nail pedicure and manicure.
