Dollar General — Local services in Trenton

They have no sheet protectors. 3 sections of different index dividers and no place for sheet protectors. The place is always dirty the binders were all over in a heap and mixed together on the bottom row. You had to go all the way down just to look and see the different prices of the different binders and figure out which you were getting. Arrrgh. The prices are often high too. They have a few good prices and things on occasion and I like the location. If they had more useful things in their selection I would rate higher. However I have gone here for years and they have made no effort to do so. They could reorganize the store a lot. It needs it. The new store is much better. We gave two stores here in Trenton and they are as opposite as day and night. This store is the older of the two. But by far the BEST of the two. I'm blocks from the new store but choose to drive across town to shop. This store is friendly staff is always visible and friendly. They are never too busy to say hello or stop and help a customer with their needs. They go above and beyond. Dollar general has been in this town for years. Used to be a thriving store, now it just seems run down. It is cluttered, dirty, and the employees really dont look happy. They are called dollar general but some things there are relatively expensive compared to other places. Mostly it just looks old and in need of a remodel.
