❗️BEWARE❗️ZERO STARS❗️ I had an awful experience at the restaurant part of this business. I ordered a boudin eggroll platter and a crawfish pie. The lady that later claimed she was the manager gave off not so friendly vibes, but still took my order. I asked her before ordering if the boudin was spicy and she told me she didn't know because she's never tried it. I went ahead and ordered and when I received my food it was completely burnt. I proceeded to take it back and asked if there was anyway that I could get the eggrolls fried not so hard. The young man at the window told me "that's just how they come." I went back to my vehicle and took pictures of the food so that I had evidence of the horrible quality of the food. I drove off and after thinking deeply about how I spent over $20 for the food I immediately within seconds of leaving parked in a nearby parking lot and called back to request a refund. The lady that originally took my order answered the phone and had the nerve to tell me that I couldn't get a refund because I had left. I let her know I did come back and the young man told me "that's just how the eggrolls come." After a verbal exchange over the phone with the "manager" with her being rude, condescending, and not agreeing to give me my money back I ended the phone call disappointed that a business would treat a first time customer that way. Also, the manager lied when I told her she wouldn't even eat what she gave me and she said she's eaten it before, but I guess she forgot she told me she's never eaten the boudin eggrolls. I should have known when I saw a kid with their feet on the counter when I was ordering it wasn't going to go well. This establishment is trash please do not waste your hard earned money here! I have been getting my fish and seafood from this family orientated business for the last 35 years & All I have to say is if you want some of the best & freshiest cat fish or any other seafood this is the place to go all there fish are alive swimming you can look in the tank and pic out the one you want big or small if you want the best part of the fish get the shank fillets little more $$ but your not getting the belly or anything else just a slad of fish which is good for grilling or they will cut it up and you can fry it, you can get crawfish, oysters and other fresh seafood when in season. I forgot to mention they have all the seasonings you need. THANK YOU SHANE AND THE WHOLE FAMILY FOR DOING A GREAT JOB &.HAVING THE BEST FISH & SEAFOOD AROUND. AGAIN THANKS FROM. ...

We stopped by this place to purchase some bait. The reason for the 5 stars is because my husband (who is disabled) went in while I stayed in the car. On his way out I noticed a young man following him. Well, my husband was short $2+ so the young man followed him to get the change so he wouldn't have to walk back in. He even folded my husband's walker and put it in the back of the truck for him. He was very polite and so respectful. I didn't catch him name but this warmed my heart so much. Compassion and great customer service seems rare these days and he showed me that some of us still have it. We'll be back to try...
