The Donner Lake Overlook isn't just an overlook, as the name would suggest. Just out of view to the outsider looking in, is a comfy rock. So it's both an overlook with a comfy rock nearby. So, conceivably, one could look over HWY 40 bridge and down onto the lake, while at the same time sitting comfortably on the comfy rock. It's not hard to imagine how sweet this little set up is.
