Stopped in around 4 PM on July, 1 2021. Received no acknowledgent as we walked in. I then asked the bartender if the bar was serving food, and if we could sit at the bar. Bartender replied with a brusque "yeah," and then told another person behind the bar to get us some menus. One woman was standing behind the bar, doing nothing. The other was maintaining conversation with other guests, and never even looked at us. This is a small establishment, and it was not busy. We looked over the menu, decided on dinner and drinks, and waited approximately 5 minutes. Enjoy the view looking out at the beautiful Sierra mountains. What a simple and relaxing place to be at. It's a place for the hikers, bikers, workers, the commoner, and anyone else who wants to relax and enjoy life. It's old and rough on the edges but that's part of its charm and lure. It cost $20 and it only filled the to go box halfway, although it did taste very good the Korean barbecue sauce is awesome. I just think it’s a little pricey for something that is mostly lettuce and cabbage.
