Z Market Place — Local services in Truckee

They have a lot of stuff here definitely a good spot to go to before heading back into town. I really enjoy ordering sandwiches on work days they have an amazing sandwich operation there it will make you some of the best stuff you can get around town. They always have a really nice selection of wine and cocktail mixers. They have an amazing selection of snacks. Tons of really good candy a chip selection that rivals a huge grocery store. They're frozen pizza chicken nuggets a really really great local bread selection amazing breakfast sandwiches that the heat up right on the spot. They're super friendly people it take the time to get to know their customers seemed to really enjoy making sandwiches and preparing lunches for everyone who comes in. They have decent parking that gets plowed first in the winter they do an outdoor barbecue thing all summer long so you can get tons of really good barbecue food if you don't want to do it yourself. Like I said in the beginning go here before you drive back...

Terrible experience. The service side is bad. Huge line (10 people +). No backup cashiers. The cashier was taking sandwich orders and had to ring up all the sales. They needed a separate sandwich person. 3 people were making sandwiches...2 people would have been enough! One guy was just standing around. The bread for our deli sandwich was stale....

This is an amazing little store! The variety of things offered is impressive given the smaller size, and every thing is so tidy and well kept. The deli is terrific and they have a nice selection of fresh made items ready to take out. Wonderful selection of beverages, including wines, beer and stuff for cocktails. Worth a stop just to see...
