I used to love coming here to shop for new rings. But one of the last times I came in, it was not the most pleasant experience. The owner has always been very kind but one of the employees there (unfortunately I don’t remember her name) has made the me feel unwelcome three times now. I went in to look for a new ring and felt very rushed. It almost felt like she did not even want me in the store. A few minutes later another customer came in and she treated the other customer the same as me, rushed her along and seemed like it was a burden that she even had customers to attend to. I did end up purchasing a very beautiful ring, but unfortunately the stone was loose and fell out of the setting. I took it in to get it reset and the same employee was there. I let her know that I needed the ring to be reset as it was loose and I fiddled with it making the stone fall out. Again, she made me feel like I was a burden even being there. When I went to pick up the ring I was planning on discussing all of this with the owner, but unfortunately when I did, again the same employee was there. She had told asked me if I was rough with the ring and I let her know, no as I stated when I had dropped it off that I noticed the main stone was loose and had fiddled with it unfortunately making it fall out. When I told her this, she looked at me as though I was lying and told me I needed to be more careful and to not be rough or else I was going to ruin it. She also very bluntly stated that this would be the only time they would fix the ring at no charge and that next time I would need to pay. All of which I do understand, but the tone of which she stated it all to me was just very unpleasant. After the last visit I have not been back due to these experiences. I have purchased many rings and earrings and love all of the jewelry here it is beautiful and wonderful quality, but again these experiences have just left a sour taste...
Read moreUnfortunately, I share the same opinion as the previous reviewer. Twice recently I have run into an employee whose name I cannot recall. She has a wealth of tattoos and is blonde. She made me feel unwelcome the first time that I dealt with her and I thought perhaps she was just having a bad day. However, I went in today and was not asking for anything out of the ordinary, but was treated almost rudely by her. Because of her attitude I mentioned that I can always go to other jewelry stores. And she suggested that I do that. This is certainly not my idea of acceptable customer service.
This is such a shame because the woman who makes the jewelry is delightful and the pieces they have there are wonderful. Nevertheless, until I know this clerk isn’t there any longer, or I can figure out when she’s not working, I will not...
Read moreCocoanut has always been my family's favorite jeweler. Their selection is delightful! We've been supporting them since the nineties. After today, however, that has changed, and none of us will be returning. My mother's 50th birthday is Saturday, and as a present from her husband she went to go pick out some pieces today, on her lunch break. I guess because she works with children and was dressed as such, they thought she was too poor to buy anything. They proceeded to treat her just nastily. The elitist atmosphere created by awfully arrogant staff ruined my mother's milestone birthday. I am outraged. The pieces there are so lovely, but after my mother being made to feel so unwelcome, we are taking our...
