I have now attended Pantano Christian Church for about 6 months. I have found it is a wonderful church and I would recommend it for new church goers as much as I would to regular church goers. If you are interested in more detail please read on……. First I am not on staff or in any leadership role. Also I am not a volunteer at the church either. I go to church and enjoy the service. I attended a home group off and on. Now that you have an idea of what my involvement is like, let me express what I have seen and experienced. First I am welcomed warmly every Sunday, and even have some greeters seek me out to say good morning. The service is wonderful if you listen to KLOVE 88.1, sometimes they play a worship song you would hear on KLOVE. The service is contemporary upbeat and very positive. At the same time Pantano presents God’s word in a loving and honest way, in essences they keep it real, but always point to Jesus and His loving truth in the Bible. You may wonder is Pantano the right fit for me. Now if you are one who is not sure about where your relationship with God is, or even do not know God at all Pantano is the place for you. Pantano is all about living life better, having a better relationship with God and all the people around us. You can get involved with an almost unlimited number of outreach programs through the church, or you can volunteer in the church and so much more, or not like me. Come to Pantano for the service just how I do. There are those who may not like Pantano’s style of presentation. I have heard that some of the older crowd and the more traditional church goers can find it a little loud, and maybe too contemporary for what they are use to. The great thing is Pantano understands that not every church is a good fit; I have heard that Pantano will even help people find a church that suits them. I know this is getting quite long, so I would say come as you are and see if you can find a great connection at Pantano like I did. May the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ bless you and...
Read moreI just hit my 1 year anniversary at PCC. I had tried it before in the past (years ago) and decided I preferred my old church. (I had gone to Calvary Chapel for over 15 years and loved Pastor Furrow's teachings. It hard to find anything that compared.) Last year, we were invited to visit PCC by another family from Desert Christian (our kid's school) and reluctantly accepted. I was told all about the "new pastor". Still skeptical, I looked up Pastor Trevor DeVage and listened to his sermons all week. I was immediately hooked. I came by myself for the first time, just to try it. It was so different than I had remembered it before. The campus was warm and welcoming. The praise worship team was captivating and the teaching hit home. I couldn't wait for my husband and kids to come. My husband has never been a 'churchgoer'. After 6 months, my husband surprised me and got Baptized at Pantano on Christmas Eve. It has truly been life changing for us. PCC is doing incredible things. It is very community and family oriented. Their mission is very clear. For the first time ever, we are tithing consistently and faithfully. I encourage anyone looking for a church family to visit Pantano Christian. I love their 'series' teachings. I love Pastor Trevor's approach. He is relatable and has a great sense of humor without skipping over the truth of scripture. Thank you to everyone at Pantano!! You all...
Read moreLoving people, lots of activities and groups to connect with, Good sounding modern contempory/rock style musical worship songs, communion offered every service, free NIV bibles, free pens, Holy Spirit is somewhat active there with messages that speak into my life each time. They need deeper teaching with proper and more complete scholarship which is where I fit in bc I'm more than happy to offer that as my main spiritual gift to those with right hearts and who care enough like myself, to get a more Fuller knowledge, understanding a d wise application of the whole counsel of God. So come find me at the 11am service usually, in their cafeteria eating a cheap but tasty breakfast of eggs, meat, home fried potatoes and either brown sugar topped french toast or pancakes!😋 This is the only assembly that I've been to that offers a cafeteria with many tables and the options to buy breakfast or lunch and watch the worship and teaching a giant screen! Free lemonade, iced tea and coffee. Great atmosphere overall and is where I find has the most opportunity of resources for spiritual and earthly...
