They tried to sell me the iPhone 7+ in the body of an iPhone 8 Plus. I got to the store & the phone looked like it was in great shape. I told him I wanted to check the imei to make sure everything was clear. He said, “Even though you’re at a store?” In a rude tone. The site pulled the information and said, “iPhone 7 plus.” So I went into the phones settings and ran the model number. Sure as heck it was an iPhone 7 Plus. I told the associate and he wanted to argue with me. I later went to apple to just buy a phone because I knew I would get what I was asking for, and the apple associate said they’ve had plenty of people bring in their phones to trade in that they bought from people off craigslist and the mother board of the phone was actually for an older phone. FULLY CHECK THESE PHONES OUT BEFORE YOU BUY...

If you’ve stolen a phone and need someone to wipe it, these are the guys to take it to! We tracked our stolen phone to this location, and it stopped pinging just after. Seems that they are complicit with illegal activities.

So you take in phones at 12am on Saturday night/Sunday and wipe it within 30 minutes of receiving it? Maybe it’s just a coincidence and you were working late, but seems a bit suspicious, don’t you think? Why the rush? Because you or someone who works for you knows it’s stolen. I bet people do come in all the time to unlock “their” iPhones...
