When will the gyms equipment be updated? None of the ellipticals work as they should. If you stop which you are supposed to be able to do, the screens black out and it starts you all over We pay $36 monthly for old worn out equipment that is constantly out of order. I was speaking to another member and he had the same complaints. I even considered allowing my son to become a member but why would I pay an additional $36 for equipment that never works the way its supposed to. It's always patched up but never fixed. At least planet fitness has up to date equipment and isnt charging an extra $30 a year for no existent repairs. Do better! Or lower your rates. I wouldn't recommend this gym to my dog. Let me respond to the owners comment. I obviously hit a nerve. The first 3 rows of cardio equipment has not been updated in over 10 years. Yes there have been updates but not to the cardio equipment. I can send you a video and pictures of everything I am speaking about. Maybe no one has come to you all about it but I know what another member said to me as every treadmill he tried to use that day wasn't working correctly. These guys are great. I'm an independent contractor leased onto a trucking company. I make my money during the week when shippers are open and freight is being booked. I can't always get home during the week, much less get there between 9-5 when everything's open. And I only take off if there's is something I have to take care of. Even if I did get a load going through there, there's no way I could fit my truck and trailer anywhere close without getting it towed. So when I lost my key, I knew it would be a chore to get a replacement. I told them my situation and this man offered take time out of his day off to meet me that Saturday. I am so greatfull for this. I can now start training again without having to do pull-ups and push-ups on my flatbed. Thers only so much you can do without getting bored with that. Overall I liked this gym. It was the first Anytime Fitness I'd been to with a bouldering wall. I went Monday morning so the bathrooms were in a little rough shape but put to order quickly once staff arrived. The biggest issue i found with this gym is the rather large pair of offices that dominate a hefty chunk of floor space. A better layout would increase the amount of weights and machines that could be present. Other than that I think if you are in the greater Tupelo area and want a simple, no nonsense gym with some quirk, you should check...
