My daughter went to school in Dallas, Texas where she became familiar with a bridal gown designer. When she got engaged, it was her dream to have this designer help her design her gown. My daughter worked in the fashion industry as a buyer and is now VP of a manufacturing company. She has a lot of knowledge about the clothing industry as well as the manufacturing side of business. Having a dress made 900 miles from home wasn’t the easiest thing to do but I made it happen. On the 4th and last trip down to Dallas, my daughter drove her wedding dress back home. It was when her wedding planner came to see her in the dress and learn how to French bustle her gown, that the inferior workmanship was revealed. There were significant tears in the back of the tulle underskirt, the hem was unfinished and the buttons were not perfectly lined up. After much discussion with the Dallas designer’s assistant, they finally sent 4 yards of tulle and several replacement buttons in order to redo everything. Evanna’s was recommended to do the work/alterations. We met the two owners, Eva and Anna, who were absolutely wonderful and they agreed to do the work. In listening and watching them study the issues, they clearly knew what they were talking about and told my daughter exactly what yardage etc that they needed. They did an incredible job working with the very expensive beading and got everything as it should have been in the first place. The dress is now gorgeous and I can’t thank Eva and Anna enough. I HIGHLY recommend this bridal salon. Their inventory is full of beautiful dresses and they make being in their salon a delightful experience! The dressing rooms are well lit, spacious and immaculate. They don’t overbook fitting appointments. The times my daughter was there, they made her feel so special. How awesome is that?!! I’m not the person who normally writes a review, but this shop deserves a major shoutout! I fell in love with a dress from a random add on Facebook. I finally found the designer and started searching for a shop near me who carried that brand. Evanna’s was the closest shop and it was a 3 hour drive from home. They didn’t have the dress in stock but ordered it the second that I expressed interest. When they got it in two weeks later, we made the drive! Anna was the consultant who took care of me. When we got there she told me to pick all of the dresses that I wanted to try on which was about 10-12 dresses. She was so patient and we had so much fun just talking about her story of opening the shop while trying on so many dresses. We saved the dress that I wanted to try on for last, but had already had one that I had my eye on. When I put this dress on we all knew that it was the one! It fits perfectly and is the dress of my dreams. Anna let me take that dress home because she said it was meant to be! I wasn’t sure that I was going to buy something because I wanted to try on lots of styles, but I felt confident that after I tried on any and every dress that I wanted that my decision was so easy! The service at Evanna's was impeccable. My friend bought her wedding dress out of town and when it arrived she was very stressed that it needed a lot of altering. She called Evanna's and they told her to come down immediately. They took great care to take all necessary measurements and alterations needed. When we went back together to pick it up, they were so warm and welcoming. They made sure that the dress was comfortable and did not rush us at all. Evanna even made alterations while we were there (that only took ten minutes) in order to make the dress perfect. It also looks like they have wonderful dress selection, and even have one of a kind handmade beautiful gowns in the store as well as handmade garters which are beautiful.
