The only redeeming quality is the scenery. Somehow this still takes the cake as the WORST course I have ever played.

Perhaps I was a bit harsh. However there are a few staff who could use some hospitality training. Carts are… dingy, not a deal breaker. The frustrating part is paying premium green fees for a course that isn’t in the condition it should be for the cost. Coming from out of town and seeing the prices posted online I thought it would be a fantastic course. The layout is rough. The cart paths are overdue for replacement in many areas. The driving range is dirt. The fairways are not great. They’re still green in September, which for twin falls is probably difficult. However there are the most random and annoying sprinkler placements, puddles on the fairways, and several holes it was like sand was filled in over top of boulders and grass was slapped on top. The terrain would be a challenge to build on but still, could’ve maybe flattened those a bit more. Might be worth a second visit in the spring when the greens are in better shape. Not in the kind of shape expected at the price point, which is where I felt the most frustrated at the experience. $136 for two to play 18. I’ve played a lot of courses in much better shape, for less money. This could be a world class place and it looks like it probably was at one point. It may have been the time of year, but maintenance seems to have dropped the ball.

What an amazing day of golf! My wife and I took a 30-day trip across the United States, golfing on several courses along the way. One of our stops was in Twin Falls, Idaho. As I was driving to our hotel, we crossed a bridge, and while I was riding in the passenger seat, I looked to my right and saw a magnificent sight—a beautiful golf course in the canyon below.

I asked my wife to please turn around so I could get a better look. I jumped out of the car and peered over the edge of the bridge, my heart racing at the stunning view of two beautiful golf courses. That evening, I booked a tee time at Canyon Springs, not realizing that there are two courses in the canyon; the other is the private Blue Lakes course. Initially, I thought I would be playing Blue Lakes, the course visible from the bridge, which I believed to be the best. However, I must say that Canyon Springs is pretty amazing and affordable.

I can tell they are doing their best to maintain this course despite the challenges of being located in the canyon. I can't wait to play there again, but I really look forward to experiencing Blue Lakes as well. The customer service was fantastic, and as a person of color, I felt nothing but warmth from the Twin Falls community. Idaho often gets a bad rap, but I highly recommend visiting this welcoming...

We visited the bar before our tee time today and had an unexpected experience. Upon arriving at the bar, I wasn’t greeted by the staff, and when I said “Good morning,” I was met with silence and a stare. While the atmosphere was fine, I felt the service could be improved, especially in terms of customer interaction.

Additionally, the golf carts were not properly cleaned. They were covered in spider webs, and there was soda residue all over the cup holders, which detracted from the overall experience.

On a positive note, the staff at the pro shop were excellent. The pro shop attendant was friendly, professional, and helpful, which made that part of my visit much more enjoyable. Hopefully, this level of hospitality can extend to other areas as well.
