Update Again, Tom (Owner) reached out and expressed how this situation was mishandled. He has made the situation right. I went to dine in once again and everything was perfect. I will continue to dine here as the atmosphere and food are enjoyable.
Update I called as they said to in the comment below and was transferred to a higher up. Left a voicemail with my name and number but have not been called back. (Two days as of now)
I had high expectations for Elevation 486 as I have been here many times in the past, but my experience was deeply disappointing. I called ahead for a 7 PM reservation to celebrate my brother’s birthday and arrived 10 minutes early. We chose this spot for its elevated atmosphere and food, hoping for a special evening. Unfortunately, things went downhill fast.
After being seated and served water, we waited another 20 minutes for a server to arrive. When she finally did, she casually mentioned that she had forgotten about us—an unfortunate start, to say the least. Still, we placed our orders: my brother and I both requested ribeye steaks cooked medium, along with an order of fries (my wife got chicken).
The food took some time to arrive, which was understandable given the wait we had already endured. However, when the food was brought to our table, my plate came with rice instead of fries. Mistakes happen, so I mentioned it to the server, who promised to bring fries right away.
While waiting for the fries, I cut into my ribeye, only to find it cooked rare—not even close to the medium I had requested (I don’t even think it was a ribeye see photo). To make matters worse, my brother’s steak was medium-rare, not medium as he ordered. We asked another server to confirm, and they agreed it wasn’t cooked correctly. They took my steak back to re-cook it, but when it returned, it was charred on the outside and still somewhat undercooked inside but I decided to just take it.
After everything—forgotten service, incorrect orders, and poorly prepared food—we walked out with a $140 bill and nothing to show for the evening except frustration. (My wife ended up taking her food home without taking a bite of the chicken due to the how raw the steak was she lost her appetite for meat and ate the potato’s only) No attempt was made to make things right beyond throwing my steak back on the grill. Things have definitely changed service wise in the past few months.
This experience left me extremely disappointed. Unfortunately, I don’t see myself returning to Elevation 486...

$9 Ordered IM YOUR HUCKLEBERRY MOJITO (Blue ice huckleberry vodka, refreshing… freeze dried huckleberries are below average tasting. ) -7-8 mins $10 CATCH 22 woodford reserve bourbon. (Well executed, ginger candy was a nice touch)
$12.50 Backed crab and shrimp artichoke dip with pita bread. Pita bread is flat, was hoping for something a bit fluffy. Dip is good but amazing. The dip itself is about average but the cheese they use is leaving something desired. Some scallion on top would really help liven the dish up and add some texture. The hot ramekin the dip is served in was sitting on top of a piece of a hot lettuce for some reason? Just bringing an odd smell off the dish.
$14 Elevation 486 cheeseburger. First impressions were not great, we asked for a new bottom half of a bun because it was soaked in greese. A very very soggy bottom bun. The top bun was Burned and because of the under seasoned paddy over took the taste of the whole burger. The fries were decent. Definitely previously frozen as far as I can tell. Not what you would expect paying $14 for their “happy hour” burger.
After not finishing our burger we asked our waiter what he would recommend on the menu. He told us he was a huge fan of the wings ($10.00) and said the buffalo was his favorite. I am not a fan of buffalo however and he also recommend the Thai chili wings and was more than willing to do a mix for us.
The wings took 18 minutes and 36 seconds to come out of the kitchen to our table( mind you there is only 3 other tables seated.) both of the wings had good flavor, the carrots were fresh and the ranch was yummy. Unfortunately our wings were Luke warm at best and we didn’t finish those either.
Service: our waiter never apologized for the burger bun oof asked why we each only ate one bite of our burger. Just said are you all done with this and took the burger. I feel like recommending wings as the “fanciest” high dancing option in twin falls is a let down. Even though we 2 out of the 6 wings, took 2 bites of our burger, we were still charged for everything as you can see on the receipt. We are leaving still very hunger and unsatisfied. We have had much better experiences here on dinner service, but will most certainly no returning for happy hour… or possibly at all. This is my wife’s first time eating here and she is most definitely not impressed. I think this will be our last time dinning at...
Read moreQuite disappointed in this place, it happened to us on Friday night when visiting Idaho we were looking for a place to have dinner and we found this one, when we got there they told us that if we had a reservation and we said no, they told us that the wait for a table could be be long (around 45 min) since they were quite busy, we decided to accept since we were traveling and we could be in the area waiting, 1 hour passed and my partner decided to ask if they were close to sitting down and they told us 5 min. We continued waiting for around 20 minutes and seeing the mess they had even with the people who had reservations. When they finally managed to seat us it was in a corner of the bar counter next to the door where the bartender came and went, a super uncomfortable spot, my partner asks if we waited so long for this? The girl apologizes and says that if someone gets up from a table they will move us, but it was really super uncomfortable, I had nowhere to put my bag and jacket, I told him, let's go, because we wanted to have dinner, not have drinks, much less feel uncomfortable. When we left, my partner told the girl at the exit that what they had done seemed very unfair and they were very disorganized. Obviously he put the review here and the restaurant responded with many lies which seems so unprofessional and in bad taste to me since they must try to please the customer, even more so knowing that their place is very busy and they have a terrible organization even with the waiting list. My partner would be incapable of telling someone yelling and being rude, we only complained about their poor organization, I thought about returning to this place on a next visit to Idaho but We will never do it, I do not plan to return to a place that, in order to maintain their reputation, they must answer a review based on lies, they must be much more professional and accept when things are not right, apologize, not tell lies. My partner felt so bad for defaming him that he deleted his message, but I will keep mine because I don't like injustice. BE MORE...
