As an audio enthusiast and bass head, I've visited numerous car audio shops, but Summit Sound and Security has redefined the standard. I realized this was not just another 'in-and-out' store when I stepped in. First, they are an Alpine Style Center (ASC), which is okay if it doesn't mean anything to you because it didn't mean anything to me either. But then I looked it up and saw that ASCs are an exclusive group of Alpine Authorized Retailers that have evolved their in-store retail environment into an elite retail experience. There are only around 33 nationwide!

They invested hours with me, ensuring I grasped every aspect of my audio setup before touching my car. Andy & Chris each spent an hour with me on the phone. Not once did they complain. Chris even said that his favorite part of his day was speaking to customers on the phone and helping to educate them. He even said he hoped more people would call in and ask to talk to him directly -- what a guy! That speaks volumes! Roger, the owner, personally shared his expertise, making me feel like I was part of their team. He even welcomed me to stay after hours to learn more about their products with the SS Crew. The entire staff was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. Their passion for audio is evident in every interaction.

Summit's expertise extends beyond car audio. As a two-time Alpine Dealer of the Year, they also excel in home theaters and tackle projects for businesses and schools. They're also one of the area's few computer-cut window film installers, showcasing their versatility. And if you need some custom work done on a historic car, look no further!

They did a great job! looks clean🔥! Some of the reasons i liked going to them was

1)The outstanding quality of work. With over 25 years in the business it really shows with the quality of work they do and the pride they take in it.

2)The Ownership and staff. All great people and a good environment. They were professional and respectful. The staff and techs made it very easy for me to pick what i needed and why. Positive people who are detail oriented. They made all the diffent options that can get kind of confusing simple for me and i appreciated it. They kept me up to date on the tinting and where they were in the process.

3)Time As i’m sure time is important to everyone they got me in fast (Same Day) after i called in on such short notice and they did the tint job in a good amount of time and didnt make me wait forever like some shops do. My time is important to me and i could tell they didnt want to waste mine.

4)Comfort They have an amazing in home theater for u to relax in while they do their job on ur vehicle. It’s super comfy and a surround sound and makes the time pass by very fast. Also if ur hungry walk 10 feet and there is a subway so it’s perfect.

5. Cleanliness When i peaked in the shop to look at my car it was very clean and organized and u could tell everything had its place and they kept it that way. Gave me peace of mind.

Safe to say I will be going back there for any of my cars needs or in home needs since they do much more then car tint! When i’m ready to finish up my basement they will be my very first...

Update: If these guys see an opportunity to make your experience with them better they will go out of their way to do so. The owner called an offered to fix the wiring issue below which was a result of my own lack of knowledge. Would highly recommend!

I went in a couple of weeks ago to see what I could do to improve my existing audio set-up in my car. The employee in the show room was very helpful and stated that my amp wasn't providing enough power for the sub (which was 100% true, it was a cheap amp). He quoted me a properly sized amp/ bass knob/ install/ and tune. I bought the equipment and scheduled the install so my car could finally have a proper tune. The price was actually very reasonable, the amp was $50 less from them then anywhere online. When I picked it up I couldn't hear my sub. I messed around with the head unit and knob, even checked to see if the sub was still connected. I went back after work and found out that they could not increase the bass because the power wire for my last amp was now limiting the power to my new amp. I know its not that big of a deal but I really wish they would have told me up front. If they would have called me when they realized there was an issue I would have paid them to put a new wire in while they had the car.
