Well, I'm glad there are at least a few people out there who have had a good experience with this place. We have had our truck worked on at this location on a couple of occasions and both times we were not impressed. The first go-around was a DPF cleaning that was scheduled well in advance. We dropped the truck well in advance for them to work on the DPF. A week after it was scheduled to be started, I called them to find out they have not even brought it in yet. That ended up taking another 2 1/2 days. The second go around, we brought the truck to this location to have the truck looked at for as the driver put it "burning smell". They found the valve cover gasket was leaking. This engine had a 500K warranty on the engine. I asked for the gasket to be replaced and the overhead to be done. They performed the overhead and charged us for the gasket due to "Cummins warranty does not cover the valve cover gasket. Fine whatever and I paid the bill. The driver drove the truck to Ft. Worth and informed me the engine was blowing oil all over the exhaust side of the engine. I could not find a Rush that could do the work or could not get a hold of anyone. So...I called MHC in Melissa to see if they could do the work. They ended up replacing the valve cover gasket due to incorrect installation at Rush. When I called Rush, they said MHC should have warrantied the work because it was a Cummins part. Why? Rush installed it incorrectly and I paid them for it. I just wanted Rush to reimburse us for the work performed at MHC. I sent off the invoice and have heard nothing since. That is my experience with them. Our driver lives in the Abilene area and it is really convenient to have someone there. But convenience does not outweigh shoddy work. Not worth it. I will try my hand at MHC - Abilene. Read moreHad a Tuesday morning appointment for a b service, brought the truck in Monday morning and went to a hotel. They didn't call me Tuesday. I called them around 4pm and was told the truck wasn't even brought into the shop yet, they would get to it Wednesday. Had to pay for 2 days in the hotel, lost my Wednesday load because we didn't have a truck. Told them to replace the locks on the side work box, they pulled the locks and had them rekeyed, but only the top lock. I left there without trying the key, my mistake. The key it very tight and the lock doesn't lock all the way. Not good service, wasn't worth the $1200 bill, didn't even get a reach around....
