Super 1 Foods — Local services in Tyler

It's a Hispanic Super One. I buy my dried chilies there. Lots of Mexican food supplies. Fits the neighborhood. Super One is a Brookshire offshoot. They know the local neighborhood. So, there's going to be differences. Different cuts of meat, for example, and the huge spice collections.

Plain fact is this.....Walmart has its place, no doubt, but Super One has better meats....and way better produce. Here's another thing.....Brookshire Management wanders around occasionally. They will listen if you have a good suggestion.

Super One has a great bakery, and the fresh tortillas are great. I would say that this is my favorite Super One. Sign up for their weekly email specials. The best thing is this.....Brookshire Corp. takes care of their people. That's why you see older folks working there that have been with the Company for years. It's a good place to work, considering the local economy.

They are surviving in the face of hard competition from Walmart. That's saying something...

They always have new people who can’t even count pennies I can’t believe I stood there for 10 minutes watching this girl count 3$ in change . Then she leaves and comes back just to scan everything slow and then say her device froze and she has to turn it off . Instead of them other workers who just be looking at people and don’t do anything don’t even say anything just start helping others that aren’t even in line . I go and say what’s happening like why aren’t you checking out people who been waiting they say I just have to keep waiting . At this point I been seeing people that was shopping after me while I’m still in line just leave . The cashier had an attitude still because I’m upset like girl I should be...

I love going there it makes you feel so welcome and inviting, I know we all have good days and bad ones to but if the staff or employees had them they did not show it! They was professional in there work place and I really and truly appreciate them! But sometimes when I go there, there's not anymore electric carts for the disabled or there's not charged up fully! I just wish they would get those kind like Walmart has where they be charged up all the time! I know they can afford it I pray that they get those kind! It would be very very convenient for the disabled people! Shalom, Most...
