We have used this meat market for years to process our Deer and Axis. The staff is always pleasant and friendly to work with, but today, we met the Owner. We questioned if we were being charged for all of our Axis as bone-in, as we brought 90% as boneless and two legs with bone; we were not asking for a discount, just trying to understand the process; he seemed combative from the beginning of the conversation and then said then started to question us about how many animals we brought. Ultimately, he lost customers because of his attitude, not the cost or anything regarding quality.

In the future, think about what you're saying before you say it, not everyone is out to screw you over, your price was more than fair, but your way of talking to us wasn't called for. Its sad to see that you don't care about your customers as your last word was, its fine, I have plenty...

We were the ONLY customers in the store at the time of our visit. We were going to buy a freezer packet, after being rushed through our order, we went to pay for it, after the sale was approved on my card, we were told we could pick it up the next day.I've never been to a meat market that does that! It takes less than a minute for them to take your money, and at least three days to refund it! What a crock! Just a word of advice, don't go there expecting to leave with a freezer package, if you do go there for that purpose, expect to spend $200, and leave with nothing! We’ve purchased bulk packages from here twice. The beef products and pan sausage was excellent both times. Most of the pork chops were terrible, had an odd flavor (gamey?) in the first order but the bacon was good. We ended up throwing several chops away. We decided to give Bon Ton another try and only ordered sausage and bacon for our pork products. I was very disappointed; when I mentioned the bad chops while ordering the second package they didn’t even offer to replace or discount, he barely acknowledged it.
