THANK YOU FOR READING!!! I moved to old el camino when they first opened March 2023. Many management changes and managers come and go. I was a permanent resident until June 30, 2024. When I moved in, it was under verbal agreement. $150 deposit, pay per month site fee plus electric. $150 deposit will be refunded upon departure, as long as no fees or charges are outstanding. I asked to sign a rental agreement, "no need we have everything." I always paid cash in the office for rent, except for the last few months. I finally paid online with debit card, BUT NEVER SETUP AUTOPAY. I left on 6/30, as to avoid having to pay rent for another month, July. I'm not on autopay, no big deal, I just don't pay anymore, paid my last electric bill on time and left. They send me an email on July 2 that my rent is past due, I've never recieved this type of email because I've never been late. Oh well, I'm no longer there, didn't pay, no problem. Until on July 3 they forced a payment through my bank account. This was done manually, remember, I never had autopay, and they had sent a late notice because of no autopay, and no payment received. So, I call the office, and demand a refund of the charge immediately. Also a refund of my deposit of $150. Then, they want to know who I talked to when I left, before they refund my money. No one, I didn't have to or need to, no autopay. They illegally forced a payment through my bank. REFUND NOW! this took almost 2 weeks!!! Now to my deposit refund. During this time of waiting on my refund for rent, they assured and re-assured me that I DO NOYT owe any further charges and they have to get my deposit refund approved. I received lip service and dragging their feet for 10 days. The manager told me she can refund me in cash or check. after the 10 days, I go back to the office to collect my deposit. i was strongly re-assured 2 more times during this visit, that I'm clear of any charges and I will recieve my deposit within 2 days, as soon as the manager returns to the office and approves my refund. That was yesterday. TODAY I RECEIVED AN EMAIL NOTICE WITH BOGUS ELECTRIC BILL CHARGES, GUESS HOW MUCH THE BILL WAS?!?! IF YOU GUESSED THE SAME AS MY DEPOSIT REFUND, YOU ARE CORRECT!!!!
CROOKED A$$ MANAGEMENT!!!! OH, BUT JUST WAIT FOR THEM TO EXPLAIN AND EXCUSE THEMSELVES. THE MANAGER HAS NEVER RETURNED OR CALLED BACK DURING ANY OF THIS SITUATION, LIKE SHE SAID SHE...

Definitely glad we did, as this is exactly the type of place we want to find for when we decide|to go for full-time #RVLife.||Pros:| Very nice pool, great for laps and lounging| Nice hot tub (though it was too hot to try it out)| Bluetooth speaker by pool| Nice little gym with weights (dumbbells and machine), bike, and treadmill.| There is a nice laundromat, with about ten stackable machines.| Our spot (#13) was perfectly level. It looked like all of the other spots were, as well.| They have a cute little store in the office (it's only open during office hours, though).| They have two bath houses, wth very nice, large showers.| We did not get to check them out, but they also have some hotel style cabins.| The water pressure was really good.| They offer free wifi. It could do with a stronger signal, but was better than most parks we camp at.| The driveways are nice and wide, to accomodate larger rigs.| The main entrance is super easy to access from Hwy 21 (there is a light, and a nice turn lane).| There is another side entrance on Grist Mill Rd. Might be too small for pulling a trailer, but it was great for coming and going in the tow vehicle.| There is a food truck by the pool (right now it is only cajun/seafood, though).| There is a cafe, that should be open soon. That will be a huge bonus.| It was suprisingly quiet, even though we were right off of Hwy 21.| Great prices for full-timers||Cons:| The place was great, and we had to look for cons.| It would be nice to have more walkways up to the buildings, so you don't have to walk around the landscaping.| It would be nice to have a different foodtruck (we don't eat seafood, so it wasn't somethig we could try out).| It would be nice if the store had...
