Whataburger — Restaurant in Uhland

I couldn’t be more excited that Uhland finally has its very first fast food restaurant and it's none other than Whataburger! They opened today Monday July 7 at 11am.

I wanted to show my support so I went over on my lunch break. I ordered a large fry and tried their seasonal prickly pear drink and WOW, it was so good! The fries were hot and crispy, just how I like them.

Since it was their first day open, I was expecting a long wait but the service was surprisingly quick and organized.

Sam, the manager, was out front greeting customers with a smile, which added a really personal and welcoming touch. It’s clear this team cares about making a good impression, and they nailed it. To top it off, I received a cool souvenir cup, which was a surprise!

For now, it’s drive-thru only, but the experience was smooth and efficient. This is a fantastic addition to Uhland, and I'll be back soon. Welcome to town,...

Corporation needs to get involved and help the staff be more organized or something! It took an HOUR just for us to get our food!! That’s so RIDICULOUS!! People who were behind us were getting their food faster than we did. I understood at the beginning, it would take long because it was new but it’s been months since it’s been open & they still take forever!! I don’t want to put the whole blame on the staff because working in the fast food industry can suck but maybe if corporate can help them out by coming up with a better system to help themselves &...

I was going to give them 2 stars because of the ridiculously long wait time in the drive thru but then when J.C. came out to give us our food, he was so kind and waited in the rain so we could make sure we had all of our order. He went back and got what we were missing and he was so polite. He was the definition of what customer service should look like and he deserves a promotion. We will be back only...
