Dollar General — Local services in Union City

This store is very unorganized and messy, but the cashiers at the Roosevelt hwy location are very nice and they are doing the best they can.The machines are always broken which is an inconvenience to all the customers that come to this store. This Roosevelt location has a very high turnover and it is unfortunate and inconvenient. The manager at this location need too get it together or he will loose more customers. I wish I could select no stars. Moving forward,this store is in the same way. The shelves are still empty in most places, merchandise all over the floor, and still unorganized and I have noticed that the different elements has started back. I spoke with the manager, Mr. Willie and he advised that nothing will be done, because this store has limited amount of hours that are allocated for employees, which is ridiculous. If you want good employees give them the hours they need to work. It is such a high turnover here, but by this being a predominantly mixed community, I don't think Dollar General cares about this store. It is sad because we spend our money at this store on a daily, but it can be removed because I expect to come to a store that is fully staffed and stocked. I can pull my money away from here even though I don't want to because I live in this area and its convenient. But...

I felt the need and Updated my original post↪Dollar General in Union City.... New management has turned this store around. You are greeted when you walk in, I can usually get through the isles without falling on something, the entire staff can not only answer most of your questions they do so without any attitude. They still keep their shelves stocked, items are priced appropriately and where they are suppose to be. I still refused to give 5 stars because of the usual wait time during ✔ out. Out of everything all the time, short staffed all the time, and employees are silent 🤫 and doesn't know how to communicate with customers. Worst Dollar General I've been in and I can tell you I love Dollar General and I shop at them quite a bit. But not this one ever again. Oh and it's not in a good area from what I can tell. Smh.
