Terrace Heights Baptist Church — Local services in Union Gap

As a conservative Southern Baptist who lives very close to this church I have visited it on multiple occasions over the last 4 years though I joined a church 30 minutes away. I enjoyed that they regularly sung some of the tradition hymns here and the people were friendly. The Pastor also was quite friendly and likable (possibly the most likable Pastor I have met in Yakima). I did remove one star because at the time of my last visit (early 2023) they were not properly maintaining their website causing me to show up an hour early for a Sunday School they were no longer offering and because I found the preaching (in my few visits) was fairly basic in content. This is not at all intended as an insult as we all need the basics covered, but as a theology student I was personally looking for a deeper look into the textual background and its doctrinal significance. This is obviously personal preference though. This church also is sistered with River church in Moxee though both are small enough and close enough that I am surprised they don’t simply form one church. If your looking for a family oriented and friendly Southern Baptist Church that is not so large that you are lost in the crowd this church would be an easy place to...

First time listening and watching. I haven't attended in person. I thought I check it out to hear what the pastor and church is teach and all about. So I would give it a five, bit I thought a four because I don't know the pastor or the congregation in person. But I have listening to few sermons and I like what the pastor is preaching from the Bible, from God's word. I'm use to a nondenominational church and raising my hands to worship God when worship in a xhurch and at home. But I really liked how the pastor preached God's word the Bible, almost like a Bible study. I don't know if they do a Bible study at their church, or not. I pray in Jesus name 🙏 that God guides me to a church that I will grow in His word and it be not interpreted in their own way, but in God's eaus, will and word. And teach God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, the resurrection of Jesus Christ and Revelation. The old Testament and the New Testament that they go together, old and new.
