First and foremost I don't want to invalidate other people's possible experiences, but I do want to say I believe those experiences are VERY unlikely. Especially coming from accounts that rarely review it seems suspicious.
It's disappointing to see such negativity because Brenda and Eric are genuinely two of the sweetest business owners I've ever met. They not only own the store but they work in there every single time they are open. It's rare to see owners actually work every single shift but both of them do! When I first met both of them, they were beyond kind and welcoming to me. Because of that, I am a consistent and returning customer. As a Black woman I have experienced plenty of places that have profile me. Brenda and Eric didn't do that to me at all when I first visited the store. I felt welcomed, safe and happy being in their store... that's why I'm a consistent customer.
Being a consistent and returning customer, I have seen A LOT. From loud and rude customers coming in, to people spilling their coffees on the floor, to teenagers coming in and only having enough money to buy a sticker, to families discovering this store for the first time. And guess what? Brenda and Eric treat each customer with the same amount of kindness. It doesn't waver. Even if a customer is rude and deserves it, they keep on being the kind people they are. And that is beyond amazing customer service.
The selection at Stardust Alley is out of this world! From TOTS masks, to pins, to tees, figurines, funkos, stickers and more! There's so much here for you to choose from. If you're a horror lover or a music fan, this is the store for you! The pricing is also extremely fair.
Thank you to both of you for your consistent service to the community, your kindness to me and for always welcoming me with open arms. I appreciate all the hard work you guys do and I'm sure so many...
Read moreI was driving down the parking lot in front of this shop when an older woman (50s or 60s) with dark curly hair who appeared to be the owner or employee (unclear) hit my car with her hand as I slowly drove past, she looked back at my car as I drove away, then quickly ran across the parking lot into her store. I parked my car and a few minutes later knocked on her shop door. The shop was closed and she refused to open the door. I told her I had seen her strike my car, heard the bump and saw her run away and wanted to know what the problem was. She entirely denied she hit my car or threw anything at it. I assured her I and the passenger with me had both seen her, heard the sound and my car camera recorded her as well. Despite this she demanded I show her evidence. I told her I didn't need to show her evidence bc I saw her do it, and I wanted to allow her an opportunity to explain why she had done that. She continued to deny it entirely. I took a photo of the front door logo in order to post a review and at that point she opened the door and began following me back to my car claiming she has cameras too. I told her I was glad she had cameras that way she could review her own footage and see herself hitting a random person's car for no apparent reason. She proceeded to take pictures of my car and my plates once I told her I'd leave a poor review. Not sure what this lady's problem was but it's unacceptable to randomly take out your anger on strangers minding their own business, then not even be mature enough to admit it and own up to it. Very weird interaction and still don't know why she did it....
