Vegan but cashless?

The food was decent, nicely decorated in terms of design and frosting of the treats, but a bit overly sweet. I give this place 2 stars for effort on the food itself, but overall not really remarkable or impressive. The best thing about this place is the atmosphere, but that's it.

The problem is that this place is vegan but cashless. Why bother being vegan and pretend to care about animals and allergens when you are cashless, meaning you don't care about the homeless? Are your vegan baked goods too fancy for them?

When you are a cashless business it prepetuates two things: For people not to carry cash, therefore diminishing the opportunities for homeless people to receive cash for food or other necessities. Other businesses becoming cashless, which eliminates the opportunities for homeless people to be able to buy food because they only carry cash.

80% of homeless people dont have identification or drivers licenses, meaning they cant get a debit or credit card, which means they cant purchase food from cashless places like this.

This places comes off as gentrified when you visit it and witness their business practices and the area its located in.

Also not wheelchair accessible. Front door doesnt have a disability...

Great atmosphere, super cute shop. Sometimes their selection is a bit limited as in they don't have everything pictured in stock BUT if you go next door to rad coffee they have a rack they sell stuff on over there as well and often will have other stuff there. The desserts are vegan which is amazing and super cute. Good size and price. Overall love this place.

My missing star is because sometimes the desserts, the donuts specifically, have a chemical taste to them. I assume it's from the coloring as you can find the same chemical taste in brightly colored desserts at other places. I might just notice it more than others might because I've complained about it from other places before and the people I complain to just don't taste it. So other people might not taste it here and I highly suggest trying their desserts BUT I always taste that...

The Cinnamon Roll was easily the best item we purchased. Staff was very nice and friendly. One nitpick that I won't deduct any stars for because they look like they're relatively new to the place, is that they do not have a microwave. That is a bummer. Especially when heating the cinnamon roll makes all the difference in the world. A microwave is a MUST. Aside from that, will definitely be returning for some of those flaming cinnamon rolls.
