I had a gift card for Wal-mart, so I went to pick up some necessities & a couple of snacks. Even though there were quite a few cars in the parking lot, I was still able to find a decent parking space. Inside, the store was clean & seemed to be well stocked. I had a list of what I needed so I headed in the direction of the pharmacy area. As I was walking down the aisle, my eyes caught sight of boxes of Twinkies. I made a mental note to grab a box before leaving.(I hadn't had a Twinkie in quite a while.)đ Man o man, was I in for a shock when I saw the prices of things. They seemed to have gone up again since I had last gone shopping 2 months ago. (I tend to stock up on my necessities for less trips to the store.) I thought the prices were supposed to be coming down. Anyway, I quickly grabbed what I needed until I got to the lotion aisle. A store employee was restocking some of the lotions & her cart was blocking the brand of lotion I normally buy. I was in no hurry so I waited while she finished w/the box. Once she climbed down from the step stool, she noticed me standing there. "Can I help u w/something?," she asked. "Ah, I just need to get to the Curel lotion. It's right there." I pointed to the product blocked by her cart. The employee was very apologetic & immediately moved her cart. She said, "I thought maybe u wanted one of the locked up items." I smiled & replied. "Nope, just the lotion, & I didn't want to rush u, " She apologized again & wished me a nice day.đ If only she knew, how frustrating the rest of my shopping went. There are these diabetic socks Pedimeds that I wear during the winter because they are thicker than & loser than my normal socks. My feet have a tendency to get cold. As far as I know, I'm not diabetic, I just like those socks. I normally find them in the pharmacy section. I looked up & down the aisles of the pharmacy section & right next to that section coming up w/nothing. Frustrated, I walked over to the lone cashier next to the cosmetics & lotion. I asked if she knew where to find the diabetic socks Pedimeds. She told me that stuff like that was usually near the pharmacy. I told her that I knew that, but I couldn't find them anywhere. She ended up looking it up for me. She asked if they were compression socks. I said "O no! They are diabetic socks, not compression socks." On her scanner, she found Medi-Ped socks that were in the Men's section of the store & told me in what aisles I could find them. I thought maybe I had gotten the name switched around so I thanked her & walked over to the Men's section. It wasn't them. So, still frustrated that I didn't find the socks, I threw in the towel & headed for a register. But, before I got there, I grabbed a box of Twinkies.đ My 9 items came up to $65 & some change. While walking back to my car, there was a car coming up the lane the wrong way, I called out to the driver "You're going the wrong way!" This was seconds before the car almost had a head on collision w/a car going down the lane correctly. The shopping carts were a bit of a mess sticking out into the driving lane so I pushed them as far as I could. Well, that was my shopping trip in...
Read moreI'm a frequent customer, i was mistreated by security...i have a child that is severly disabled, i have to get things for her all the time, I get things for my family as well & their medications so im here all the time. In the past I have had issues w security. Today i was wrongfully accused of stealing by an undercover girl (((I don't know her name)))skinny African American girl, I was looking for clothes for my teenage daughter who is severely autistic... she is picky & I have to be cautious about the clothes I buy her while I was doing that a ruthless undercover girl was randomly walking up to me asking questions like is my bicycle outside & some other strange questions, i felt very uncomfortable... I buy my stuff and while I walk out the same girl is outside with a security guard, & she accuses me of stealing. I show them there is nothing in my purse & I ask them both for the manager, they BOTH DID NOT get the manager instead went to customer service, I ask for help they didn't help me... luckily a very sweet employee who checks the receipts got the manager for me ( she deserves a raise), so the mangers comes then the crooked security came over who by the way never apologized, their boss and manager did apologize, I did curse I defended myself. BEACUSE I pay attention to my surroundings she darn well knew I did not steal, i understand people make mistakes this wasn't a mistake...this girl was approaching me in the store while shopping staring at me & asking me questions like about a bicycle outside?? First of all I drive a brand new car & even if I didn't if i was was homeless I'm still a human being & its not your business how I get to the store or asking me personal questions. I had to go to other employee for the manager today, the undercover girl had a motive & personally attacked me, I am very triggered & tramazatized by this situation. This security girl at the store wanted to mess with me & I am writing this so not another customer goes through this. the boss of security needs to read this & get a new security team that will protect & care for the safety of customers not jealous ones who attack frequent customers & dont get help when a paying customer who did nothing wrong ask for the manager, like I said i come in here all the time if I continue to feel uncomfortable or attacked again I'm contacting corporations this...
Read moreI haven't been to a Walmart in a while because the one closer to me has horrible service. So Target gets all my money now for about three years running. I was close to this one through and needed something quick so I stopped by. Wasn't too bad until I needed to have one of the cabinets opened for me to get a product. There was nobody around so I asked the guy across the isle by the cereal, I believe his name was Giovani, young dude with dark hair. His response to me was literally "I don't have the key" and went back to working. I was in disbelief that he thought that was a proper reply so I asked if he could find someone else to help me and he finally got the idea, came back and said that person was walking around picking up calls and asked me to wait a few minutes. I figured that meant he had let that person know I was there waiting but after a while I realized that probably didn't happen.
I asked another person and she said she couldn't open it, asked a third, older woman with long dark hair and glasses and before I could finish my questions she said to go hit the button. I let her know I didn't see any buttons and she said under her breath there were two over there. I went and saw were a button was supposed to be but the whole unit had been removed. Finally saw the call button at the other end of the department and hit it. A voice over the intermcom announced there was someone waiting where I was. Great I'll get some help finally........nope. The announcement went out about three times then stopped, I hit the button again and nothing happened. I went back isle by isle until I finally got to the isle where I had started and there was a woman by the name of Jennifer putting things away.....not looking for the customer that needed help as per the intercom. I was halfway through asking her for help when she got on her phone and walked right past me without acknowledging me. After a minute she came back and was nice enough after that. Finally got help long after I asked for it.
Walmart, you have cameras all over the place constantly letting us know you're watching us yet when a customer needs help all your cameras and intercoms do nobody any good.
I will do everything I can to never visit another...
