Tasty Goody Chinese Fast Food — Restaurant in Upland

I have to say, first, the new girls up front are very nice and friendly, they let u try a sample of the food if u ask and sometimes offer it even if you don't. So I would've love to give them 5 stars but that alone is why I gave them 3 stars.. the food... well... I used to love the chow mein & fried rice here... it was the best, always great & my favorite... the shop suey was amazeballs & I don't even like veggies like that 😶 but now the noodles taste nothing like they used to... very generic... the rice too, doesn't taste like good fried rice... very underwhelming... I've tried a few items like the coconut shrimp.. it's good, but I'm not a fan of the texture... spicy chicken & spicy fish are decent... everything seems like it's lacking some flavor though... I'm assuming this location has new owners... & it's something I hadn't realized till the last time I went and spent $80+ on food I didn't like... unfortunately I won't be coming back to this location... & that's sad for me cause I've been coming here for 25+ years, I used to go with my mom & sisters & eventually me...

I've been eating from here for a long time & we (my family & I) love it! This place serves some of the best Chinese takeout food in our neighborhood. I'm a very picky eater. I don't like everyone's food but this tops on my favorites list. The people that work here have always been nice & helpful to us. I try to avoid the long lines but sometimes its impossible. The wait is so worth it. Oh my gosh! The amount of food the pile on to your takeout container is huge! I have 1 of my favorites to order. Shrimp fried rice with everything extra! They also make it super spicy to order & if you like spice then I recommend you request hot spicy! The best! & if by any chance you need some more spice, they have this awesome chilie oil that is the alternative to sriracha. I'm also not a fan of the thick flour chow mein noodles & this place offers rice noodles! These rice noodles are so dang good! This is a great place to eat from. They have a strong clientele. Customer service ? Not here . Rude and you can't hear them ir them hear you when ordering. Trying to get your order across is a but if a task and asking for salt n pepper shrimp always comes in a bag on the side. Not in box mixed but here the lady asked many times after I had originally asked for single item . So I gave in and said yes give me the slat n pepper shrimp 🍤 then she starts to take food out of my combo ? I'm like forget it . I don't want less food just a bad experience. She then asked if I want egg roll? How many ?so I say yes please 1 .
