What a Fun Night!! We drove 45min from Nj for this Haunt, 7 of us, and we were not disappointed! It was the Perfect Oct night too! Thereās a little walk from where you park to the entrance which gives you time to take it all in. You see the Halloween lights, smoke and flames from the Huge bon-fires, hear the band playing and it gets you all the more excited! The ladies at the ticket booth were so friendly, asked if it was our first time and gave us a quick run down on where to go. We arrived at 8:30pm on a Friday night, there were lines at the attractions but they moved pretty fast. The Hay Ride was first and was so much fun! A few unexpected ātricksā which I wonāt give away. Then we did the Trail Walk which I loved! Saw a few people in our party get scared which is what weāre there for! Then a quick stop for hot chocolate, funnel cake, my son got a burgeršš¤£, the ladies warmed up by the fire, listened to a couple songs and off to the Haunted House. Itās 10pm as we are getting online, so we got to see the Staff of the Hay Ride do their last ride through hooting & hollering. We All applauded them for such a great job! I enjoyed the Haunted House the best, which was a debate in my group since they were all great!! My favorite part had to be the Cemetery, donāt run through too fast or youāll miss a few things! Iād love to see the scenery during the day too! We stopped to buy T-shirts and Hoodies at the stand outside the exit. Walking to our car itās 11pm, so worth the money!! Sleepy Hollow has made it to our Annual list of places to go every October! It was a Blast!! My only critique would be the missed opportunities to interact with the guests while online or to stop the wagons at some of the scenes and have the Actors talk to and involve the guests. People always leave with a better experience when theyāre āchosenā or called out by name. I understand Actors are hard to come by tho so that could be an issue. Add in to the already written scenes things like āweāre looking for the youngest or we sacrifice the single ones, the closest birthday⦠whatever just to personalize it a bit š¤·āāļøjust a suggestion. We will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBeen going here for a few years. Definitely recommend the RIP (fast pass). Itās literally $15 dollars more yet the general line was SO long. God bless all of them lmao. The hayride was okay, kinda shorter than I remembered. The field is good but also was kinda short. The house is our main attraction. The technology and illusions are great. This year though they let WAY too many people in at once and we felt rushed trying to get to everything. Like literally they were pushing me through the doors so the next group could go in. Kinda ruined the experience. Also the last scare was way less energetic. I guess because we were kinda late? Yet when we left there were literally over 100 people still letting to go in.
I understand this is a business for the owners, but it felt way more rushed than previous years. Also, me and my boyfriend had 2 insured RIP triple combos. My sister was also going and the combos were āsold outā yet I was easily able to shell out $111 for 3 individual tickets and the time slots were all available at double the price. Not good business practice. And lastly / change stuff up! The house is the same thing every year. We enjoy it and itās well done but other haunts strive to improve their sets with the profits they get. We drive over an hour every year and weāre hoping for a better experience...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis review is based off of the hayride and experience at Sleepy Hallow. Short review if you live close and dont mind spending $25 a person for just a non scary hayride then by all means. Long review... The Fram itself is nice but small, as far as how the tickets and attractions are set up. Huge parking lot, just be prepared to walk to the entrance but that is like any farm. You are the ushered into a line, if not an RIP, so you wait to go to a ticket both to have your QR code scanned to be handed paper tickets, that if you lose it, they will make you by another. The wait for the hayride was only about a half hour because they use double wagons which kills the scare because they don't have enough actors. There is around 7 scenes setup throughout the ride and none had the scare factor. They only have one concession stand which that line was as long as they attractions but rook longer. The bonfire area was pretty nice. But overall if you are looking for a good scare, actors all over, and just the creepy feel this is not the place. It is good to take younger kids for there first experience unless they expect to be scared because my 10 year old said Dad I thought we were going ro be scared. Go somewhere else unless this is the closest to you and you don't...
