Do not particularly care for this store i went to the self checkout ana waited 10 to 15 minutes while an employee she was a bigger lady middle aged with blonde hair was talking about me like a dog with a customer (they were pointing and looking at me laughing)after10 minutes of this i gave her an are you done and can you come over and help me now look. She had the nerve to give me an attitude (I guess she wasn't done talking about me )and the other employee that was there looked at the blonde and said I guess she doesn't have any patients. I didn't say anything to either of them except thanks when I was finally helped. And both of them have been giving me attitude ever since throwing trash bags at my feet when I'm getting tickets from lottery and the other women hit me twice with a cart.if it keeps up im going to sue this storebut the kicker of this whole thing is 2 months after the incident the blonde woman list her temper with a customer over the phone(I was there for the whole thing)and slammed the phone down on the customer at the service desk so seriously she can loose patience but I can't get alittle irritated when she's talking about me like dog.giant eagle needs to do undercover boss and hang in the store I hope the owner reads this because I meant what I said I will sue both of them and the store .update the blonde big lady is still running her mouth about me and now she is including all the employees not just one or two im calling my attorney. I've said or did nothing to this woman even after she calls me names .I think she doesn't know I can here her but I've had enough. I've been document ing every thing . I needed help at self check out but NOBODY was staffed to watch it and NOBODY was staffed at the courtesy desk. I had to go looking for an employee to cancel my order after waiting with the flashing help light for 10 minutes. By then I no longer wanted ANYTHING from Giant Eagle. I know this happened because the folks who run Giant Eagles arent interested in paying their employees a living wage. You dont GET that short staffed if youre PAYING YOUR WORKERS. Read moreThe employee, Lindell, is one of the best people I've ever met. He always goes above and beyond for customers here. Whether it be helping load groceries into cars, or cleaning off customer's windshields when the weather is bad so it's easier for them to see, or just being one step ahead to take your cart back for you. One time I had a visiting friend and her young son was crying because he stepped in something gross outside. He heard the commotion, came by, took the shoe and pressure washed it off for us somewhere and then brought it back to us in the store. He refused a tip of any kind and said he was happy to do it.
