Purchased 10k BTU Friedrich portable air conditioner to replace a smaller, cheaper unit purchased from big box store. Our awning windows required a local business to build a window insert which took time to match the fitting (krissays took my payment before I received the actual unit).When we finally installed the AC, we quickly realized it was far less effective than the smaller, cheaper unit from big box store. Krissays wouldn’t honor any return since I “waited too long” and ,admittedly, I did dispose of original box. At no point did any manager take 2 seconds to ask what was wrong with product/what they could do, just a brief message forwarded from front desk worker. Unfortunately in 2024 big box stores are offering cheaper, more effective products with better customer service. Speaking of “waited too long” When our unit arrived at their store about a week after we provided payment, I was advised to come down for pickup. Upon arrival we waited our turn for assistance, only to be informed the unit was “still at the warehouse” so I load my infant son back in vehicle and drive around downtown Johnstown to said warehouse. Waited again, only to be informed unit might actually be back at the store. Drive back over there, search continues, units finally found! Overall a miserable experience, better off...

We tried to get it repaired, they were at my house 4 times waisting time and money. My search began for a new oven. Everyone gave me 3-6 month estimated delivery. Called and spoke to Don today and he had my purchase completed within a half hour over the phone !!! He said I will have it at my location Tuesday and you can pick up Tuesday or Wednesday !! I said are you kidding me ? I almost cried. Then Don called back in 10 minutes and I said please no bad news !! He said I have good news !! The oven here in our warehouse you can come get today !!! My wife called with the result being oh leave it plugged in and we can get to it in 3 days. I called and the owner was very unprofessional. They called my wife back and informed her they would send someone up to look at today then continue to say that they texted the service manager while they were speaking the first time.
