I'm sorry if this is a little long. I really needed 2 front tires on my car (like really bad). I called Alray and asked if they happen to have 2 used tires that would fit and they said they did. Once I got there they told us that after looking at them (the 2 they had) one was really good and the other wasn't as good as the first one but still way better then what I currently had. They said that if I wanted it they wouldn't charge me for the one that wasn't as good. I was shocked bc they could have put them both on and charged me for both but they were honest and let me decide if I wanted it. Which I did take both. They were busy so it was a little bit of a wait but it was not an overly long wait. So here's where it gets interesting I get the tires and leave make it to the car wash in drexel and "the good tire" is flat like flat flat. We had to stop and put the spare on flat. I called and told them and they asked if I could make it back and I said yes. One the phone and in person they apologize several times and I told the guy on the phone, it happens and we would come back. Once we got back they were able to replace both tires with some that were even better and did not charge me anymore. It was hot and at this point I was just tired and wishing that we could just make some Flintstone tires and not have to deal with tire tires anymore.
My point here is I feel like Alray went above and beyond for us to make it right. They could have handled the situation several different ways and charged me more money but they did everything they could to make it right. Again it was not anyone's fault, things happen but I feel so blessed with the way they handled it.
Thank you guys so much for the way y'all handled it and reassured us that everything would be ok.
From now on anyone ask best place to get some tires this is my...
Read moreHad a tire issue within the mileage warranty. Stoped by the shop on a Thursday to have them figure out why I was loosing pressure. At first they could not find any leak. After looking harder they found that the sidewall had failed and the tiniest bit of air was escaping. The counter lady started to created a ticket but could not find me in their system. She and her counter partner kept typing and asking if I was sure that I was at the right place and they could not help me if I was not in their system. With no support, I left and went home. I returned on Friday with a copy of my paperwork to proove that I was indeed a customer. The manager (Tim) came over and went to look at the tire. Tim then turned everything into my fault saying that it was not feasible that a tire could ever fail or have a manufacturer's defect. Tim offered to call his Yokohama rep but briefed the rep (Steve) with his one sided story that absolved him of all responsibility. The three of us spoke professionally on speaker phone for a few minutes but no resolution beyond me buying a new tire was offered. Seeing that no satisfaction was even being considered I decided to cut my losses, thanked them for thier time, and left. Tim would not offer any local service, he kept saying he was only the installer and could not support me. He kept throwing up his hands and putting all responsibility on the manufacturer but would not support his customer even while talking to the manufacturer rep. The original sale was for four new tires but Alray could not figure out a way to help when one of them had an issue. Tim even tried to guilt ME into buying a full price replacement by saying I was taking food away from his wife and family if I did not pay full price for a replacement. I will be purchasing my replacement and any future...
Read moreTook my car in to have starter replaced because it wasn’t starting. They called and let me know it was the starter and said nothing else. Went to pick the car up and they gave me the keys I went to start my car and it wouldn’t start and now there was a grinding noise I never heard before. Went back in and asked them what’s going on. They went and got the owner. He came out told me it’s an intermittent problem but just keep pressing the start button and it will eventually start. I asked him what would cause that because that was never the issue before. He told me a bullshit story like when the starter went out it could have flown off and hit the flywheel breaking some teeth off. I know I’m a woman but I’m not an idiot and do know a few things about cars. I drove away with a weird feeling like they were trying to cover up their mistake and hoping it wouldn’t do that grinding noise and not start until after I left the lot then it was on me not them. I called around to get it fixed. Was a major repair had to drop the transmission come to find out it was because they put the starter in incorrectly. My suspicions were correct. I’ll never do business here again. I’m sure they are competent enough to put tires on a car but anything other than that I wouldn’t come here and I won’t even be back for tires because they do shady business and costed me a lot of extra money because of...
