Asian Food Mart — Local services in Valdosta

The store had a good selection, but I dont recommend going unless you have to. When I made a purchase with my card for $12 the owner had no issue and made it hasty. While I waited for my brother to pick up what he wanted, I decided to purchase some of the candy they had in the front since I was already standing there. It came out to $6.29, but the man then stated I couldn't make a purchase under 10 dollars, which confused me a little, and I asked if I could use a physical card instead of tap, which made him agitated with me. He snatched the stuff off the counter like I was going take it and proceeded to tell me I could pay cash, add something else, or leave without it. I dont usually carry cash, and at this point, I was fed up with his tone, so I told him I was okay and I left. He couldve just as easily told me in a polite manner that you can only use card if your order is over 10 dollars, which couldve resolved this whole thing without an issue. I used to love this store a lot. But overall, customer service was awful and I dont recommend this place unless you are looking to buy a lot of stuff because it seems they just want to drain your pockets and get agitated if you...

I’ve never had such wonderful people help me!!! I was looking for Kimchi although it was not on the shelf due to limited space, the husband quickly helped me. I needed Napa Cabbage, which wasn’t on the shelf & the wife helped me, it was all in the back, so if you don’t see something…ask for it in the back because…they most likely have it, but due to limited shelf space, you have to ask & be polite…do not demand…it is disrespectful in EVERY COUNTRY! The wife helped me pick out all the perfect ingredients to make my own Kimchi! This is a ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL PLACE…I do NOT UNDERSTAND WHY SO MANY PEOPLE HAVE MISJUDGED THIS WONDERFUL PLACE!!! They even helped me bring my groceries into my car!!! I will be a FOREVER CUSTOMER & I just think all the negative people don’t understand the culture! Show this place some RESPECT! They have so many things we can not get but through Amazon…this is a OUTSTANDING PLACE❤️❤️❤️

Nice little store. The dude and his wife are pretty cool. A small family working to run a store with decent product. I get everything I need to make pho here and have slowly found more things to add to improve it. Been going for around 6 years or so and the people have been great and let me take free newspapers.
