Waffle House — Restaurant in Georgia

I visited this Waffle House back on 2 Aug 2016 with a fellow co-worker. Why am I posting this so late in the game? Well, I'm going through all my Waffle House visits in the past 10 years and posting reviews on the ones that had the biggest impact in my life. Ok, maybe not that drastic, but it was good regardless.

I initially tried Waffle House for the first time when I lived in Shreveport/Bossier City, Louisiana back in 1995-1997, and although majority of the visits were after a long night of drinking, I still remember it being awesome! So every time I visit certain areas of the country, I like to try and find Waffle Houses since there aren't any where I live (Las Vegas).

Whenever I visit Waffle House, I'll always order the same thing...waffles, hash browns, and their fantastic Texas Toast Breakfast Sandwiches. I mean once you leave here, you should be smiling, otherwise, you have a serious problem. The prices here are very reasonable and affordable which makes this place even more desirable. The customer service was great - I remember talking with my co-worker on how friendly and efficient they were, which doesn't come often in Las Vegas...so it was appreciative.

We have ate at this location several times Enjoyed our meals. Oh my tonight was like a different place. They were four tables in the resturant. Only two of us were placing orders. The table was awful she was wiping the table down as we were entering so I thougt it would be clean . Nope ,coffee cup left on napkin dispencer Crumbs all under condiment stand . Another Waitress cleaned a table drop trash in the dinning area then missed trash can left trash laying on the floor. No coffee refill for a good ten minutes . Got waffle way before other food (gone when food came) Not due to the cook he was gone and walked away from grill a good bit before our food was Served cold. To top it off the server stood at counter eating her meal I usually defend Waffle House when people joke about it but no more it is a AWFUL WAFFLE For the managers on Bemiss Rd location I have photos if...

Customer service was horrible! Our waiter never checked on us although he was literally right in front of us and never acknowledged our checked. Had to ask someone else for a refill and check. I also let them know that the table next to us was looking for assistance as well. Then we noticed two of the three staff were sitting at another table. Finally, one got up for what we thought was for assistance, but he got up to get his pad to start DRAWING! The other table had enough and got up and left without paying, but it wasn't from a lack of trying. If I had not got the other guys attention and all for my check I would have done the same. Good note, the cook takes pride in his food. To bad it was overshadowed by the customer service (which he could have corrected) I am a fan of Waffle House but this one needs to do...
