Beware, you are NOT able to wash these cushions/covers without destroying them. Just sharing my experience with this company's product for others to consider. We purchased custom cushions for our kitchen bench. They were fine to begin with (albeit expensive), but at one point we spilled food on one of them and hand-washed a spot about 1.5 ft x 1.5 ft on the cover to remove the stain. We let it air-dry outside and it shrank significantly (about 30%) and we could no longer fit the cushion inside; see picture below. After weeks of trying to get someone at Hearth & Home to respond, they admitted it shouldn't have shrunk like that, but ultimately told us our only option is to pay $200 to get a new cover. 2.5 months later we finally got a new cover. Custom window seat cover arrived right on time and I’m tickled it fits perfectly and is gorgeous! We searched high and low looking for a reasonable price with quality cushion and found Hearth & Home. We scored big time! I seriously cannot believe how perfect this cushion is for our window seat. Our cushions turned out amazing. The fabric is beautiful, and the cushion foam is very firm and holds its shape well while still being comfortable. I think these will hold up well over time. Also, when I submitted my order and measurements, Nate was so helpful in ensuring my measurements were right for my space. If it wasn’t for him asking the right questions and making his suggestions, our cushions would not have fit right!!
