Dollar General — Local services in Venice Township

This store is very clean and up to date on everything. Employees are very good at their jobs and very friendly. My only problem with this store is with who I believe is store manager. She has been there at least a year and Iv heard her talk horribly about customers involving their weight and hygiene or that they’re poor because they shop at dollar general. Iv had her circle me or follow me throughout the whole store and mumble stuff around me. I’m a local I pick up odds and ends there all the time. All the employees know me by name. This person that I believe is the manager is making it a missable place to shop not only for me but other locals as well. I normally go to my local dollar general in Lennon, MI all the time, however, I know myself and personally a couple more people that go in there, and one of the cashiers is super rude, talks about customers under her breath, and throws our stuff around. She needs to be talked too because this dollar general is NOT going to make it with rude staff like that. Personally, I care about older people and that's when I draw the line, next time I see her talking to an elderly person like I have seen I will be saying something to her!!! It went pretty nice but when it was time to finally leave after being in there with me and my son and I had to pee everything was wonderful the store looked clean the people were nice. The main downfall of my visit this time is that this lady that works the counter I rang the bell and nobody said a word so I with a little louder tone said we are already at the counter and the counter person whatever you call them cashier I guess acted a little snooty because I called her that I was ready to check out not my fault she left 10 seconds before I was ready.
