I would give no starts but that not an option. This was my first time to Garden Barn and it was my last. I showed up a week ago during Covid to see If I could find any house pants or cactus, I figured they would be outside for people to see. Nope. There were a ton of people walking around through the plants so I thought it would be ok for me. I went to the front door to speak to someone about browsing plants and I was greeted by a very husky women with brown hair. No hey, hello, or how may I help you.I got what? what are you doing? Very rudely.. I explain to her I’m not sure how this works during covid and if I’m allowed to browse pants. I was told no, I need to go on the website and do curbside pick up, I asked if there were pictures of all the plants so I know what I’m choosing. She told me yes, there are pictures of everything . So I sat in my car for 15 minutes trying to use a website that is not up to par. There were little to no pictures for house plants and cactus, and the description was lacking details. For someone who’s unfamiliar with plants this was confusing and frustrating! I drove away to another nursery after that, they gave better customer service and were helpful with all my questions. Read moreI like this place for the nice different varieties of houseplants they have. There prices can vary! Some plants are overpriced I must say. Others are really good for the price and find. My first visit was very good until I got home. As much as I looked thoroughly at the two plants before purchasing when I took one out it had some mealy bugs. I blame myself for not looking good enough! I treated the plants and here we are two months later and they are thriving! It’s November and one of my Alocasia’s are flowering away. I just decided to go again last week because I am looking for a certain plant and they had my wishlist plants. I found what I was looking for. I looked thoroughly at the two plants I purchased and really thoroughly. And pleased with this second purchase! I have had them quarantined for 5 days and I am happy. Read moreLast spring (Mid March, 2022) I contacted Garden Barn to have them resurrect a garden for my wife for her birthday. I spoke with Kevin Zorda, who told me that they would be happy to do it. He requested photos of the site where the work was to take pace and and I provided them. We agreed that he would meet my wife to discuss specifics when her birthday arrived a couple days later. The meeting occurred as planned. Kevin told my wife that he would get back to her with some ideas, Then nothing. Not a word.
