Unprofessional. I called to see if they are taking in volunteers. The women I spoke to was nice and told me they would love and welcome volunteers. I asked her if court ordered volunteers are okay. She put me on hold to asked a coworker next to her if that was okay. I don’t know if the woman thought I couldn’t hear her in the background but she was explaining that they aren’t taking that type of volunteering. Which is fine because I know some places don’t. The women I talked to then asked her if she wants to explain that to me since I’m on the phone and she laughed and said no.
